One of the most forgettable films I have ever wasted 2 hours of my life on. No funny jokes here whatsoever! The best part of the film was the ending. It captured for a brief moment, the spirit of the franchise. But that may have just been because the theme song was playing. Bill Murray looked so uninterested & bored to be there it was distracting. Not the worst film I have ever seen, but easily one of the most boring.

I mean......it's very colourful and very loud and very "Despicable Me "...so it depends on how you go processing LOTS OF STUFF happening all at once on an MASSIVE screen. At the end of the day - a cinematic experience is special no matter how you do it...so yes...why not!?

I liked the characters. Johnny had a soft side to him. His insightful wit and bare bones honesty also gave me hope that he would 'do the right thing', and he did. He was smart, but lacked formal education. He captured the essence of many people in a similar situation. Denise was a victim of circumstance, almost. She continued to wrestle with her past and present and future. I felt sad for them both. I wouldn't trust them to get a coffee, but their intentions were good. To call this film 'science fiction' or 'stoner comedy' is laziness in classification. This is a tragedy. It would have been a great stage play. This film should be shown to kids in grade 11. We are the result of our choices, but we are the victims of circumstance. Meth is horrible drug. Better than Four Good Days. Well done Sam.

I just saw this. I didn't like the main protagonist at all and he grated on me.But I see that it might be the direction rather than the accomplished actor. Scenery is great in this film and the women save it from complete disaster. books in 90s,remember them as charming. Wish the film was a little more like that.

That thumbnail may be the greatest PTSD reaction to a horror movie I've seen, when I was watching the film, I was so frusterated over how bad of a shooter the guy was with the shotgun, that the movie was becoming a comedy, I've gotten more good scenerios in writing fight scenes by flipping a coin than how stupid that guy with the weapon.

Yes, have to agree with your review. To me it seemed fake and contrived. I have walked 2 Caminos, and this film does not reflect my experience at all. Perhaps because I don't walk the popular Francis route as the director did, and perhaps I am not walking for the social element. But each person should walk their own Camino, without any expectations or pre-conceived ideas.
@TheFlikfreak3 ай бұрын
Awesome insight and yes...I feel like it is a very personal journey
@juliesavill2 ай бұрын
I agree - I walked the Primitivo (original route) almost 10 years ago and it was a blessing to mostly be alone without the hoards on the Frances route, still plenty to socialise with in the evening but when I hit Melide and the routes joined, I ended up walking my own route south and cut around the south of the airport and it was glorious. I dont think any movie about the camino does it justice. Martin Sheen's The Way only fosters more group tourists rather than real pilgrims

Hey, since you already saw the entire movie at the end, I was curious about this and wanted to know by asking you about who are the three actors who played Man in the Mask, Dollface and Pin-Up Girl in the movie. according to the credits?

IMDB has the credits as follows: Matus Lajcak Scarecrow Double (as Matúš Lajčák) Olivia Kreutzova Dollface Double Letizia Fabbri Pin-Up Double There's no listing as to the actual actors but, one could say that it's these people above.

Totally agree with this review. My partner and I have walked the Camino 3 times , the French way twice and the Camino Norte, and in 2025 are walking the via de la plata from Seville. It’s an addiction! Why do we walk it? For the adventure, the challenge, the joy and simplicity of life when you are on the Camino. They are truly the happiest days of my life. Even when I’m tired and the mountains are sooo high and I’m tired, I love it and am so filled with the desire to jump on a plane and start tomorrow!

I was hoping it was more cutthroat, less cheesy & shows what Amy truly struggled and went through, sort of “Lady sings blue” movie Diana Ross made for Billie Holiday but knew todays Cinemas are too sensitive to put out such a film. But anything Amy I will support to keep her legacy! I’ll still go check it out.

I adored Amy Winehouse & will NEVER forget the day she died.....I wept for days & I still tear up when listening to her songs💔 I went to the cinema to see 'Amy' in 2015....most of the cinema cried for her - it was so moving and I felt it was appropriately respectful to Amy & her legacy. It laid bare those who failed her (yes, Amy was self-destructive, but at her age what the hell does anyone expect - she was put into situations that no one should be forced in to.) I WILL NOT BE GOING TO SEE THIS DISRESPECTFUL CHARADE! I get the actress wanted to 'be' Amy, but to even try to be a 'karaoke Amy' is beyond belief! Amy's voice was SO unique - literally one of a kind that we'll never see again in our lifetime. Amy was bold, unapologetic, unfiltered, raw, passionate, stylish, 'lost' & vulnerable, but with THAT VOICE she blew the world away - singing was like breathing to her - everything about her was so ICONIC! She would've been so offended with an actress imitating her voice & a 'film' portraying a bland, diluted version of her life. Amy was a dichotomy and Asif Kapadia's film captured the essence of her soul. R.I.P. sweet Amy - we miss you💔

The Bohemian Rhapsody inaccuracies were so much worse in comparison but yeah they tried to paint it in a more positive light although yeah, off the back of performances, it’s pretty good. Although biopics are biopics and nowhere near as factual as documentaries just like Bob Marley: One Love, which only told a small fraction of his story, not the full story. If you want a good quality biopic, watch Control about Joy Division’s Ian Curtis 🔥

Hello. There is some language, drug use and brief nudity. To be honest, it's all pretty tame and all depictions of drug taking are very brief and not explicit. The film is MA+15 in Australia so it just depends how you feel about rating systems.

I seen the movie. Yes it was safe. From interviews and footage i have seen amy give. She played amy very well. But did not capture her to essence or her personality to perfection? Amy was a lot rougher around the Edges. And there was nothing wrong with that, Amy was amy what you seen is what you got from her.. And i loved her for that.she was a ticking time bomb. And there was no way anyone was going to stop her not even her parents or her nan. My dad was an alcoholic. My brother and cousin both died young from alcohol. So i could relate to amys story. And i suffered as a result of alcohol. Any assocation with alcohol is devastation on everyone involved the whole family not just the alcholic.. So thats where judgment should be focused on, not on amy? she was just a human being like us all.. And yes we all make mistakes in life.. But some of us pay with our lives. R. I. P. Amy..

I’m a filmmaker and read all books on Amy. This movie was enjoyable, it’s more targeted at teen girls though, because it is about love mostly. But I anticipated a more ruthless Christian F style thing and really wanted to see some hardcore scenes from Taylor James book.
