My heat went out on my Trane XR90 last year and the HVAC tech cleaned one of the switches, but said it was "old" and might have to be replaced soon. Well, low-and-behold, the heat went out again. I checkout your video and I was able to have a better understanding of the situation. My tech is coming out to check again, and now I'll be able to communicate with him a lot better. Thanks!

Update. I removed the 94.5" belt that was loose and replaced it with a 93.5" belt. It seems to work well and fit reasonably. 1994 E320 Sedan. 1:29

Be careful trusting law enforcement. I live in the boonies and a couple live around here. Plenty problems w the entire bunch. I avoid them. Elsewhere there's got to be some decent ones. Sad. I think the demands of their job dehumanize them? Don't know why you worry about aesthetics. Who gives a dam if color is faded. I like patina. Bet you the Kohler with the decompression problem only needs a very careful valve adjustment. Very careful. Remove valve cover and turn to just before TDC firing. Be careful not to turn engine backwards because that can damage decompression device on the cam. Then give it the slightest amount of negative clearance. Good luck.

Purchased the 94.5" belt, this belt does fit loosely. I am trying to adjust tension in belt but am not having luck..

@@slavik97 by loosening a bolt on the tensioner, the adjusting the the tension bolt. I think I just don't have enough adjustment left to get it fully tight.

@@slavik97 yeah. I think 3 different websites suggested that the belt length for a 2010 e350 is 94.5". So that is what I ordered. I think maybe my tension adjustment system is messed up. I will play more this week to see if I can figure out what is going on

@@slavik97 on my '94 e320, I currently have CEL on and it gives me 4 blinks. I believe that is "air injection inoperable". I think I may just delete the air pump but I would also like to figure out how to get the CEL to not turn on....

It would have been nice if you could show us there is not a soft starter kit installed. My AC central works but I needed a soft starter to get it going, my generator is a 9500w and works just fine
