I've always thought this version was by the composer himself, but your comment kinda made me doubt that for a second, since it's not explicitly stated in the title of the video. I still however think that it's probably by him, since it seems it's from his album and I think I've seen people in the comments saying it's by him, but still I'm not 100% sure. Maybe someone else will confirm it under this comment.

His voice.. is perfect. It's so him. I wonder if he feels more free now, wherever he is.. I wonder if his pain and worries vanished? I wonder if he's happier now.. I am now the same age as he was and I am struggling to hold onto life. Every year I'm surprised that I'm still here, that I'm still holding on. I am such a weakling. I am too weak for this world, for this family. I'm sorry, I tried to change but I lost myself and now I'm tired. And these days I feel especially fragile.. Every little thing makes me shake, I feel like I'm about to crack at any moment, like I'm just gonna break down and cry. I don't have any strength left in me.. I can feel my hopes dwindling.. I no longer.. I don't think I can find my home anymore.. I don't think there's a place for me in this world.

This is one of my most fav song of all time. At first i didnt know why i always feel sad when listening to it. Turns out after many years, i only realized that there was a sad story behind all of this. Sigh Rip Powapowa, thank you for making this beautiful song.
