Remember always being aware of the A&SH. Wildcat and Boar. My Grandpa fought in Royal Artillery during WW2 then was a Major in the Argyles. Still have his Swinging Six and badger head sporran. He loved the regiment and was a real highland gentleman. Born in Islay - lived, worked and died in Argyle.

Hi, thanks for comment. This is my second scooter, I picked one out for price and ground clearance as I intended to use it on field footpaths etc. Some of these are pretty mucky. Unfortunately the Veleco front wheel drive one is useless on even the slightest wet slope. The front wheel just spins and you go nowhere! I sold it at a huge loss and bought the Sportrider as it is rear wheel drive and high ground clearance, it has been a great success, if you had seen where I went today you would be convinced I could not have tackled it. Steep slope, extremely deep rutted and stony, almost impossible to walk on it, but the scooter tackled it easily. My only fear was geting a puncture on the stones. Several places there was 12inch deep mud and puddles...straight through. Pretty stable as well, many times I was leaning well over sideways as I negotiated deep ruts, a bit scary but I got through OK. I can thoroughly recommend it, got mine 2nd hand less than a year old from Ebay for £1500. Den
