just recieved 3 of them in todays mail. To be honest I was about to give up on fixed spool reels. Iwas having serious problems with line release, just couldn't seem to get the timing down,I was either off to the right or left, my casts just were just not accurret. Using a finger guard in my opinion was a real hassle, constantly put it on to cast, take it off to tie a knot. This design solves a lot of problems for those of us who want to cast 90 grams and more with a fixed spool and braided line. thank you Den

Hello Sir - I realize it’s been over 3 years since this posting but do you still sell these triggers and if so do you ship to the States? Thank you.

why you need so much line on the reel?

Why not just buy a Shimano reel with a trigger? fish.shimano.com/content/fish/northamerica/us/en/homepage/Shimano_Product_Page.P-SYNCOPATE.html They work great. I wish they were available with higher quality materials/bearings so they would last longer. but for $35 dollars, they're a great value.

Also, unless your drag is set super tight the weight of the bait would make the line slip on the post.
