Jesus christ. I dont like commenting much, but Ive gotta say, so many people here are absolute morons. First, he said weapon, not tool. A hachet, machete, and carving knife are all far better to bring in a survival situation, but they are awful to use as weapons. They already arent great because they have little range, and using them as weapons can easily entirely ruin their usefulness as a tool. Second, this weapon is absolutely a good choice for hunting purposes, as it can EASILY shatter bones and destroy skulls. It may not be the absolute best, but considering how easy it would be to create and its relative effectiveness, its certainly better than other options (especially you people that keep saying rifles) in the specific circumstances of a survival situation. Dear god, to think I'd have to point out this stuff.

Hahaha, your video production is 1000 times better than mine. Great video and cool bow. A hard maple is so underrated in the eyes of the Osagians.

I wonder if you couldn't try tanning it in a reverse thread cordage to reduce elasticity and improve durability.

had a hen that got worms, put vinegar(ACV) and grapefruit seed extract(GSE) in their water never saw a worm again. GSE is powerful stuff only need a little. lots of herbs work great too i like throwing clove in their bedding, helps with the smell and they can scratch for it. when my hen got worms i went to the feed store and got some wormer, after reading the instructions i returned it, nasty stuff and i wouldn't be able to use the eggs for a month! beware letting your birds eat rodents they carry parasites.

Rabbits can easily jump over that pen also the fact that is awfully dangerous without a ceiling from predators also if the wire isnt deep under the ground to stop them digging out
