Gly one question sir could a special harness and winch be designed to lower a man down those deep shafts since climbing be to much but couid a vest like the Coast guard currently uses in ocean rescue with helicopters be set up to a special winch hooked up. To old bob to lower a man down those same deep shafts you send a camera down now ... because those shafts often only have some wood which could be pushed out of the way by a man lowerd down like you do with the camera.... understand it wouid cost a few grand to come up with such equipment if you built it your seif .....but to be able to go into those deep shafts and get to those lower levels often seen open by your camera going down this shafts if fan is willing to donate a grand or two later. In fall to help with the cost is it something possible no one else has currently and give the chance to go down to these levels before there lost for good let me no not a bullshitet either because i love to see you get to those lower levels......ps ...no a regular winch be to dangerous but couid a special modified one to go slower lowering a person down be made let me no ok .....thanks for the great adventures so far

“Gly”: Mr M and I built the Schnozzolator about three years ago, it was a gantry that attached to the bumper of our Jeeps and the Jeeps winch was used to raise a person out of the shaft via the Jeeps winch and a progressive capture system. It worked very well and was used three times but despite our enthusiasm for it never helped grow our channels. My hope was that the Schnozzolator would propel my channel forward earning more revenue so I could eventually build the ultimate truck, gantry and cage system for lowering a person in a cage down shafts but unfortunately , the idea fell flat with my audience so I moved on. By now, A&FP should’ve had at least 1/2 - 1 million subscribers taking into consideration the level of production value the channel offers but the KZbin platform has been throttling and censoring us for over three years directly inhibiting it’s growth and success.

Glad to see you expand this channel! Love the mine explorations and historical mining techniques! After watching your videos, we were pleased to see an excellent display at the World Museum of Mining in Butte, MT, on square set timbering techniques used in the various local Butte mines. And, they were pioneered by the same man who developed square set techniques originally in Nevada!

That was a LONG way down! Can't imagine trying to lower oneself into that shaft with a rope! NOPE!!!! Even trying to get onto one of those ladders gives me the creeps. Scary!!! This is when the drones are awesome. Thanks Gly and Laura for your continued expeditions. They are fun and informative. Have been watching your videos for a few years. :>)

This is weird Mr M has just started to deep shaft videos using the snozzalator 2.0 and now you’ve started to do them again ?
@DSE-TT26 күн бұрын
“Gly”: These videos were moved over here from A&FP, they’re videos from the last three years or so. It’s just coincidence that I revamped this channel about the same time he started to once again drop his rig down vertical shafts again. We will be adding new videos very soon.. stay tuned! Oh, by the way.. his rig is called Schnozzovision 2.0, my rig is called the Torpedo. The Schnozzolator was the steel gantry we built together to physically raise a person out of a vertical shaft via a winch. I know, it’s all very confusing. Lol

No matter who you were in life we all get the same size hole in the ground. It was a lot of money spent on the fancy stones and iron work for the time so long ago to be consigned to the grave yard forever. Reminders of lives lived in the ancient past.
@JDJ1898JADEАй бұрын
Some pretty old graves there.
@debrakish9659Ай бұрын
Appropriately moody music for a graveyard seemingly in the middle of nowhere. Imagine what the lives were like for the souls who rest there now.

I saw the bone but did not see any shoe, ribcage, or graves.
@DSE-TTАй бұрын
“Gly”: The shoe is on the landing near the ladder. The bones are in the bottom of the shaft and the two graves are about 50 - 100 feet from the shaft but they’re hard to see.
@PaulT-nd9nm26 күн бұрын
I think I got the femur at 3.46 just right of rat's bum. Think I can see a couple of ribs maybe. Can see the barrel too 🙂 But the kids shoe escapes me. Maybe such things could do with highlighting in some way on the vids Gly?

“Gly”: A Tommy knocker has already followed us home. He likes to turn the light on my camera rig, blow the fuse in Bobs taillights and now he’s taken up residence in our hot water heater. It’s leaking all over the place and a replacement is $400. Lukewarm showers stink!
