We who live in southern Oregon/extreme northern California have the most beautiful lake in the U.S. if not the world, Crater Lake; the world's most beautiful waterfall, Burney Falls, which is located between Lassen Peak and Mount Shasta; and arguably the world's most beautiful mountain, Mount Shasta. What makes Shasta the most beautiful and stunning of them all is location. It seems to have risen up out of nowhere, and it provides such a contrast to its surroundings. There is lot to be said to live in the so-called Ring of Fire region of the world. Just stunning views. The Sierra Nevada rival the Cascades in beauty. There is nothing like living in the far western U.S.

hey awesome video.. do you find that it helps with the stabilization if you use your AX53 on a tripod when filming jets? Or would the built-in stabilization be enough that you don't need a tripod?

April 1987 USS Brumby (FF-1044) we are off Cape Hatteras in a nasty noreaster. We get the call for a tug n tow in danger of sinking. Well the tug was from Louisiana and the crew only spoke Cajun French. Luckily we had a crew member from Lafayette, Louisiana who still spoke good Cajun French and we were able to communicate on plans to rescue the crew. We lost the tug n tow but rescued the crew. Middle of a dark night in 30-40 foot seas listening to Cajun French being spoken is a lifelong memory. Gave me a appreciation for the Cajun culture. RIP Lt J who died in Desert Storm in a auto accident. He was our Cajun French speaker.

It appears to chase the airplane because it is actually formed inside the camera. Other rainbows are formed on the retina of each eye of each viewer. Light refracted at a 40 degree angle from the rain droplets is focused on retina by the eye lens.
