@@Tim2pointoh Meanwhile I received my 1628. For less than 5 Euros. So far, so good. It properly recognized the 1st of October following September 30. You can adjust the calendar up to the year 2049, 50 years less than on the Casios. The "anti-counterfeit" barcode label with online verification made me smile because this watch itself could be considered a Casio copy. Even the glass protectors for my son's GW-B5600 fit just fine. Appears to be a good gardening and DIY watch. And you can always meditate about what the irregularly blinking mark above the seconds display is for.

I bought the Skmei F91W. Cheaper than the Casio, 50 metres water resistance, and a superior light. Going strong for more than a year, even after serious swimming and showering.

Nice collection, I'm currently after the the G-shock GW9400-3 but I can't find it anywhere so I'm currently buying the parts to build one! Other than that I have a GAX-100B which I love BUT those squares look nice and have me questioning my building mission.

@@Tim2pointoh Well technically, it's only 4 parts not including the strap. I'm buying the insides/brain as one piece and the case/bezel/sensor as one piece. So, only a little screwdriver required for assembly.

Skmei sucks, doesn't even keep decent time, which is a minimum for any watch. Just because it has multicolored blinky lighting doesn't make it better.
