2:42 mark think he slides into the 5th fret from the 3rd then does the 3 (333) harmonic on the string higher ..other than that this was amazing. One of the best covers if not the best

Hah, another song I play. 3DG is one of my most played bands to cover. It’s like we’re on parallel journeys. I swear if I see AiC, Skillet, Volbeat, or Godsmack pop up on your channel, I’m gonna assume you’re my alien clone. 😆 Well, you do play more lead than I do. I mostly (though not entirely) focus on rhythm. This one is a lot of fun, and as simple as it is, I LOVE playing the bridge on this. For some reason it just hits me right in the feels. I could see it jiving with you too. It’s so simple but SO emotive. If you haven’t played Skillet “Awake and Alive”, I recommend it. Not particularly hard but it’s got a lot more technique going on under the hood than one might assume at first blush. (Neat. I noticed you use your index finger for the Barr chord at the end of each full verse riff repetition instead of the third finger Barr I’ve been using to intone it that I picked up from Rocksmith. I’ll have to try your way, it didn’t cross my mind for some reason. Seems way easier.) PRS forever! (Though I do love my Ibanez seven string; got that one for almost entirely Korn.)

It came stock with the guitar at the time, not sure if that's different now. It's an excellent guitar overall, very versatile and very good quality for its price point.

Great stuff (been revisiting BB after about a decade of playing other stuff). I’ve just started studying this song, and I appreciate the glimpse into the fingering. Playing it on a DigiTech Drop pitch-shifted PRS SE 245 (I have it set up for drop C, so pitch shifting it doesn’t hurt the tone much if at all). Gorgeously vicious song with a lot of personal meaning for me. (Hah, JUST noticed you’re playing it on a PRS too. Cool. My favorite guitar brand. Yours a baritone, sorta looks like it, or just set up for drop tuning?)

That's a fret wrap. It just mutes any excess string noise.

Thank you! It's a slightly heavier overdrive tone for most of the song, with a clean tone in the intro and outro.
