Been a while since I've covered some Seether! Some fun guitar work in this one, nothing too difficult but the guitar layering does make it a lot of fun to learn. I've updated the Songsterr tab to reflect what I'm playing in this video. Hope you all enjoy!

Awesome as always. You and Mystic Guitar77 are probably my favorite cover channels; you guys actually cover a lot of the same stuff so it's interesting to hear both your takes on these songs. Definitely will help me with learning.

Dude, this album freaky awesome.. The best of theirs, on my opinion. Such dark, heavy thematic.. And, as always, your effortless guitar playing really turns me on! Wish you've covered a lot of "Finding Beauty In Negative Spaces" songs!

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! Agree, this is probably their best album but Karma & Effect comes pretty close too.

Dude! I swear you killed me with this cover 😃 this song is such a banger and it blew me away when I first heard it! Thank you so much for covering this one! This song/cover is incredible!! Great work! I noticed I made some errors when learning this one by ear too, so I appreciate you showing that! What effect did you use for that “solo” in the bridge? I can’t tell if a wah pedal was used or not.
@fgeo91
@fgeo91 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much man, glad you enjoyed it. Yeah a Wah pedal was used for that solo bit, just opens up a bit with the tremolo picked part.

@@fgeo91 That part where you slid your fingers over the strings, I think he does a pick slide but I don't think that matters because you still get the same sounds out of it.

@@fgeo91 would you be able to do a video on how you set up your stuff or is that too much to ask?
@fgeo91
@fgeo91 3 жыл бұрын
First of all, export your audio from Reaper to a separate .wav file by choosing File > Render. You should now have an audio file of your Reaper recording. In Premiere, create a new project then drag and drop your audio and video files in to use them in this project. Once they're loaded into the project, drag your video file in the timeline first, then right-click it when it's in the timeline and select "Unlink". This separates the original audio from your video file (which may have all sorts of background noise), which you can delete and replace with your audio file you exported from Reaper. From there, it's just trial and error to line up the audio with the video so they are in sync. I'd make a video to help but I honestly don't have the time at the moment, but hope that what I've said can help you out.

always wondered why you have so many tracks in reaper lol
@fgeo91
@fgeo91 3 жыл бұрын
Doubled rhythm tracks, separate effects for different lead sections, different EQs for rhythm/lead/clean tracks, bussed/parent tracks for other tracks which carry only effects/EQ, different panning on different takes, etc. Many reasons.
