In any case, this method does not work with LibreOffice version 24. There you really need to use " ; " as a separator instead of " , " sorry i was not the first one.🙈🙈

BTW, there's an even QUICKER way to make a large selection. In this example, click in A1; depress and hold down the "Shift" key; then click in G27, the lower right corner. THAT'S IT! The entire range is now selected.

My cells show the formula rather than the results. I have a few cells that work sometimes, then it reverts back to showing the formula. I use to never have this much trouble with Calc formulas, or Excel formulas. What's the new secrete to getting them to consistently work? very buggy and hit or miss performace with calc now. too bad, but calc has gone down hill

Ok, you show Advanced searches for greater than or less than but what about equal to? You can't use something like "=Not Empty" because it will error out...

Thanks great info, may I suggest you use a date where the Month & Day are easily distinguished e.g. 12/25/15 where it is obvious which is the day & which is the month as opposed to 2/2/15.

In later versions of LibreOffice Calc, just use F4, instead of SHIFT+F4, to change to absolute reference.

Thank you so much for the clear videos. One small discrepancy, possibly due to things changing since 2015 when you made this video (I'm writing in 2022, using Calc version 7). It seems to me that I have to use a 2 instead of a 1 within the workday.intl function. You show that 1 signifies Sat/Sun, but when I use a 1 it seems that it is interpreting that as Fri/Sat. Just curious if you know anything about this. Thanks again!

does anyone know how to show the date ordinal text, like if i want it to show 'January 21st' or 'January 22nd' or 'January 23rd' or 'January 24th'? I got the 'MMM D' part. but i don't know how to show that 'st' or 'nd' or 'rd' or 'th'. (shrug) I am simply not impressed (at all) with how LibreOffice chose their date/time format codes. :(

Other than the "W" Workdays are green and "H" Holidays are blue, now there's another category named "working holidays", is there another way to program "WH" into the chart and make it yellow? I get a sense you already have similar teaching in the pool, how to search for it? If not, any hint? Thank you for your excellent videos.

Yep... because for programmers and LibreOffice, months doesn't repeat through years... "august only happened once since ever". I'm quite impressed to realize LibreOffice can't sum by "month/year". A sheet used in accounting that doesn't distinguish months/years... that's very smart... Softwares should be made to help ppl, not like you need to be a surgeon to have surgery. That's very, very stupid.
