I can't get my sons 1996 jag 440 fan. Runs good just will not idle. I've adjusted air screw. No luck. Could it be the slide? Not much experience with the carbs. Curious if you have any tips? Thanks

Is there a special pump you need to buy for those shocks or can any pump work?

Maybe I can get help here. Polaris 440 prox. It's often like it's stuck at 7k rpm. No power. Feels like a governor. And sometimes it randomly decides to operate normal, runs like 8-9k, full power. For a minute or 2. It starts, idles, and putts at low speeds excellently. This has mainly been diagnosed as carb issues for primary clutch weights. Unfortunately, to my untrained eyes, both look great.

Any tips on the adjustment to level the float mechanism so it doesn’t pour fuel? That’s my current issue with a 1988 tundra thanks appreciate your videos

Is there any high speed mixture adjustment on these? How do you attach the throttle cable? There cable goes through a threaded tube with a lock nut on it. Does changing this change the position of the needle and the mixture, or is that lock nut only to get the cable the right length so you have full range on the throttle control?

Do a video with all 3 Air/Fuel screws different. show example how its running wrong, then show us how tune & adjust Air/Fuel screw in properly. making all three exhausts pipes equal ratio's.

Same issue with my 1980 Yamaha SS440. If I lift the choke even a little she jumps right back to life. I’m thinking air leak, but I don’t know. Let’s see if we get replies.

Im far from mechanical. My F-150 2000 had bad vibration for about 5 years. I just accepted it's because its old. Then my driveshaft fell off. Finally figured it out.

I have 2008 m1000 . just put the bike man performance clutch kit in it. the weights don't move freely. are they supposed to, torqued through bolts to 10 ft pounds
@danb.709Ай бұрын
Fyi the book for the 2013 m800 says the spec is 1.437 in. Which sounds dumb but is exactly 1 & 7/16 in. 36mm is basically the same.

Great video thank you. I have a 2005 Arctic Cat Z570. I started it up and it idles without turning off, but the idle is super low rpm and lights barely working. Do I turn that air/idle screw in or out to get more rpm for the idle? Thank you.

Back in late 90's i snowboarded with a gentleman named norm elkholm... he had a v-max 4 fully modded for hill climbing... (chassis, engine, race gas and pretty much everything else).... got to rip it up the mountain a few times and i can tell you that thing was a crazy insane beast... POINT, AIM, AND HANG THE HELL ON.... Cant imagine what that nut case machine would be like to pull the trigger on. If you guys need a test dummy for a full throttle run i would be happy to volunteer.... LOL...
