Can you do a video in women over 50 for weight loss? Or something on how resistance training can cause more weight loss than cardio? Your amazin, thank you for your videos!

Everybody talking about how the door breaks but not how freaking painful the splinters that get stuck in your hand are when you trust the door with your weight.

Hi Jerry! Thanks for the comprehensive upper body workout split! I really like how you minimize junk volume and focus on high-quality reps. Do you think reverse planks with weight progressions are enough for the erector muscles? My right erector is much weaker than the left. Will this exercise help balance the imbalance?

Beta-blockers can significantly influence insulin resistance. They are thought to contribute to the development of hyperglycemia by impairing the release of insulin from the pancreatic B-cell. This deterioration of insulin sensitivity with Beta-blockers is expected to have a direct negative effect on glycaemic control in patients with both hypertension and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Atenolol, Metoprolol, and Propranolol are beta blockers that can increase blood glucose in people with diabetes and cause new Type 2 diabetes in n people that didn't have it before.

I've been on propranolol (40 milligrams daily) for almost 8 years. I had never had a doctor even mention type 2 diabetes to me because I never had any blood sugar issues. 6 months on propranolol and they said in was prediabetes. I was able to drop my A1C from 6.2 to 5.7 in 4-6 months but barely lost any weight due to the propranolol. It baffled doctors to see the A1C change that much but no significant weight loss.

I started rebounding a few weeks ago. This past week for three days in a row I did 4-5 miles (an hour workout approx) the 4th day I just walked outside for a couple miles and my legs and hips damn near gave out I clearly needed rest I didn’t workout at all yesterday and weighed in today 6 pounds heavier. IN ONE WEEK. do you have any info regarding rebounding and weight gain? I only ask because rebounding works all 628 muscles simultaneously and it is a different workout as far as g force and other thermodynamics are concerned. I’ve been at a plateau for quite some time and this six pound weight gain has completely derailed me 😢

I can not thank you enough for this video. I was on a great health journey and lost 24lbs. Then I got pregnant and got too sick so I couldn’t work out anymore. When the baby was born and I got better I really wanted to pick it up again!! I did everything right but ofcourse had sleepless nights as a mom with a newborn. I gained so much weight during that period and didn’t understand why since I did everything the same as I did before I got pregnant, the only difference was my sleepschedule. It all makes sense now. Now that the nights are going better I’m trying to work out again, and now I know to prioritize sleep if I don’t want to sabotage myself. Thank you so much for explaining where the problem comes from and also why.

Holy Jesus this is a diamond-tier channel for fitness. My god, you answered exactly what I am going through and explained it in a perfect way which anyone could understand. Thank you for this. On another note, giving this information for free instead of hiding behind a pay wall is another massive plus to the channel. Thank you for sharing this, and like thew comments say, you have probably helped thousands of people with this issue!

Thank you! Every time I've tried to lose weight over the years I wind up gaining. I started watching walking and weighted walking videos this spring, and have started tracking off and on working towards Body Slims this fall. Come to find out most days I was only eating 500-800 calories. I just don't get hungry and forget to eat. And don't eat enough even though I feel like I'm full when I eat. I doubled my calories and upped my protein and have dropped almost 8 pounds so far and am sleeping better. It's really discouraging to see all the videos saying it's impossible to gain weight in a calorie deficit. But I've also been super stressed over time. I know it isn't all water weight, but it helps understand what is going on in higher stress weeks when I just feel puffy and inflamed and the scale goes up.

I had to get off of propranolol. It made me gain so much weight. I've always been little. Now that I'm off the pill the weight is coming off. I was literally having to skip eating 3 days out of the week on top of heavy exercise, and i still wasn't seeing much a difference. I wasn't even eating a lot. I had cut out all snacks and just ate meat twice a day. So unsustainable.
