About 12 years ago, I was a broke college student at a small university in the mountains. I desperately needed a job and walked into a small family restaurant and asked for a job, they put me on as a dishwasher. One of the line cooks was this old and really southern hillbilly dude named Brad. He was a former alcoholic and played this song every single day before service in order to “keep himself sober”. I don’t think it worked all that well, but it was a funny running joke. I worked there until I graduated. I recently learned that Brad passed away a few years ago, and I wanted to come here pay tribute to one of the funniest dudes I ever worked with. Fly high brother.
