Do some editing. No one wants to hear that stupid revving of the engine.

Is Junior Venture 30 the model I have one just like it it looks like almost all the parts are there but I know nothing about them I got it for really cheap is there a site I can go to to purchase parts or maybe find out what I need?

Many older nitro helis are hard to find parts for, ebay is your best bet.

Hi I saw your video and saw that it was taken at pekin club I was wondering if you were still in the area and if so if you would be able to give me some pointers with my JR Venture I live about 20 minutes from pekin Thank You
@crowe739 жыл бұрын
Thanks for commenting. I still live in Pekin and I can help you with your helicopter. I'm available during the week after 5 P.M. and anytime on the weekend.

crowe73 Sweet I am not sure what is going on with it I am new to helicopters I have been flying some electric ones for a while. And been flying planes since I was 13. When I try to start it the rotor head tries to engage pretty hard when you hit the starter. When the engine starts it tries to jerk the blade out of your hand and then It is like the clutch lets go. The helicopter has never been flown and I only have attempted to start it 2 times in the 4 years I have had it. Would Wednesday of next Wednesday work to take a look at it?
@crowe739 жыл бұрын
Jerry Bessler Friday or saturday anytime would be better for me. Let me know and we will meet at Pekin R.C. field and I can have a look at your helicopter.

Phew! Good job. Looks like you've got a Spektrum DX6i radio there. I have a JR Venture 30 sitting around. Thinking of hooking it up to a June 2014 second-gen DX6 radio.
@crowe7310 жыл бұрын
The radio is indeed a DX6i by Spektrum. The radio you have should work fine for your heli. Thanks for commenting.

What kind of transmitter are you using with the jr venture 30 and what are your settings when I push forward the heli moves backwards
@crowe7310 жыл бұрын
I used a Spektrum DX6i transmitter. As far as radio settings go, it sounds like your elevator settings is backwards. Go into the swash mix, in the elevator setting, and change the number to the opposite of what it's set to (Example - +60 degrees; set to -60 degrees or vice versa). When you move the stick forward, the swashplate should tilt forward. Hope this helps and happy flying to you. Thanks for commenting.

Thanks for watching and commenting. It was fun shooting the video. I had to recheck the CG of the plane after mounting the camera. I will be trimming the plane and will be shooting some videos in the process; so stay tuned for those to come. Thanks for watching and happy flying to you my friend.

Such a really big shame we can't get a model supplier to sell this machine in the United Kingdom... The Pantera 50 is brilliant mine is flying weekly for the last 4 to 5 years with no parts failures other than done by my thumbs which thankfully were very few... Great video most jealous.

The fuel that I personally use for my helicopters is Cool power helicopter blend with 30% nitro. I would say about any helicopter blend of fuel would be fine for your heli. Hope this helps and happy flying with your helicopter. Any more questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thanks and happy flying to you.

Great. Will consider this one in the future.

I think this would be a very good heli for a beginner. You can adjust the settings in the radio to make it as wild or as tame as you like. As always, seek advice from an experienced pilot especially if you haven't flew a R/C helicopter before.
@malcolmking75212 жыл бұрын
Thanks! Do you think it would be a good beginner heli?

Thanks for watching and I appreciate the kind words. It wasn't a difficult helicopter to build at all. The biggest issue that I had to elongate some of the bolt holes in the frame to get the gear mesh correct for the tail drive gear. Other then that, very easy build. Also, in my honest opinion, this heli is built very solid and appears like it can take a good beating. Hope this helps and hope you might consider this heli. Also it flies excellent. Thanks again and happy flying to you. Chad

Thanks for watching. Sorry fot taking so long to reply; been busy lately. Our big bird event had a record turnout of people. I can't wait to see your Edge 540 fly when you get it finished. I have an .90 size Edge 540 also. I'm repairing some minor crash damage on her and wanting to put a bigger engine on it. Happy flying to you my friend. Chad AMA 934439

You're right. Flying model aircraft in the streets or over a crowd of people is a violation of the AMA safety code. Unfortunatly, I see people flying in parks where a lot of people are present and it's those people that give the hobby a bad rap. Thanks for watching and happy flying to you.

I see so many videos of people flying planes in the street or in parks with people in them. Last I heard, it was a violation of the AMA Safety Code. At least you're flying at a RC field.

I started out with the Nexstar .46 select. Another good one is the Spektrum Alpha .40. Both come ready to fly. The Alpha 40 is about $100.00 cheaper than the Nexstar. Both are great trainers to start with. Hope this helps and good luck to you with whatever plane you decide to get. Chad AMA 934439

My gawd, 5 minutes of watching this crap before you even get it rolling on the ground? Have you ever heard of editing? Do I need to see someone crank and crank on an engine or watch real planes fly over head? I thought I was going to watch a demo of the RC91 plane... oh here it starts at 5:05 into an 11:44 video.

@cavinete21 Thanks for the comment. The Escapade is an excellent flying plane for the price. Unfortuneatly, it needs rebuilt due to a crash that totaled the front end of the plane. Hopefully, I will get her rebuilt soon. My favorite plane that I fly is the RC 91 as seen on some of my more recent videos. You can check them out on my youtube channel (crowe73) if you wish.
