@@makanuihidaro I still ride mine (32"x8" Designed for Tas Pappas-Dew Tour). Pro vert guys would ride it and land tricks they never could land before. They were sponsored riders so they would hand it back and say, 'no thanks'. The stores wouldn't carry it because a kid would buy one and it would last him 2 years... The process is pretty involved: Heated presses, matched molds, over 100 graphite pattern layups in each board... We've moved on. It could be resurrected, but it would take some serious effort. Let me know if you find some financial backing.

@jhadzicki i was "on flow" for a while early on. "Crazy Chris" would hand me a fresh one and tell me to give it hell. I always said they were ahead of their time period I thought for the price point versus the standard would being $55 a deck at the time most riders would spring for the woodboard. Every time, but for longevity, Rev would and will out last anything on the market even "Aircraft Skateboards". But I am seriously interested, and possibly getting something going again. Considering the price of wood has gone up significantly at seventy dollars plus aboard! What kind of $$$ what we be looking at To get things going again

@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
Excellent point! Comparing with and without is a great idea. The Reflex design on all our Rev models greatly improves light-wind performance and stall recovery. Here is a quick video comparing with and without Reflex on our standard model, the Revolution EXP : kzbin.info/www/bejne/jnXTqoSNd7F8d5I
@rabbitracinguk2 ай бұрын
@@jhadzicki I've watched that vid before and this is exactly what my 2-4 does. I've said it before, there should be a "retrofit Kit" for upgrading older models to reflex. Is the 2-4 sail the same on older models vs newer ones bar the velcro tabs and reflex springs? A mylar patch with a velcro tab on attached to both sides would upgrade any normal rev to Reflex. Would you consider knocking up a "Patch" and sending a couple of them to me with some springs and I'll do a back to back review?

@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
Handle size is a personal preference. The standard size is 13 inches. That's what I fly on virtually all the time in any conditions and with any Revolution model. A small percentage of Rev pilots fly on 15 inch handles, which will make your Rev more responsive: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z6OXpGiDpq2SqK8

Zero wind and what? Say that again.....: "it starts to generate it's own power"?! The energy problem seems to be solved! :o)
@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
Although the wind is only blowing 2mph, the wing is moving at 20+ mph. So the wing is actually experiencing a 20 mph headwind which creates more power and speed.
@MrEmileB2 ай бұрын
@@jhadzicki I absolutely believe it is an efficient wing. But the claim that it generates it's own power is an impossible one. All the energy (power) comes from the steps backward and from the wind. But this is only a (formal) comment on that one line. The wing flies great! Good luck with your project!

@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
Awesome @Captain_Yodelstein, You will love either one. If your wind conditions are light or bumpy, The XX handles those conditions better, especially light wind conditions, and learning is faster and easier with the XX. The best thing about the EXP is the durability. Let me know how it goes!

Love that, Joe! I saw a team flying up here in Long Beach WA during our kite festival and I was wondering how lines don't get tangled? Surely with all the spins and turns the lines must cross each other. Does the team do some maneuvers then reverse them to clear lines??
@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
Yes @chrisproctor3779, Teams are very careful to design patterns to minimize twisting. In large teams, one complete wrap is pushing the limits of binding due to friction. Most line crossings are 1/2 a wrap or less to avoid a catastrophe!
