Just got a XX recently and love it!! It's my first quad line and it's been super fun to fly!! Don has helped me out with learning and I usually fly at cays! Eager to continue learning new tricks! Got a little video on my channel of me flying it 😁

Hello from Europe, I could eventually enjoy my Rev (XX Tarantula) on the beach the whole summer and it was such a pleasure. I had another 4-lines before (Orao 500) which was really cool to start and learn new reflexes after years of flying delta wings, but the Rev is really amazing, precise and super powerful. Even a bit too powerful on high winds, it goes so fast that a tiny mistake leads to a crash but that's on me :) Kudos to the team, your kites are amazing

@@jhadzicki I'm not on FB, but your YT videos are definitely a great source for tutorials. I'll certainly try to pass some levels at some point when I'm confident enough with advanced skills ;) (working on my "clockwork" precision now :D)

whats the difference between rx or xx?
@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
The Revolution RX is based on a 31 inch frame. All 5 shafts are 31 inches long. The Leading edge is 3 shafts at 31 inches for a total of 93 inch wingspan. The Rev XX is based on 33 inches (giving a 99 inch wingspan and a height of 33 inches. The slightly larger wing adds stability making it easier to learn basic and advanced skills. The XX is also capable of flying in lighter conditions, including 'zero-wind' indoor flying: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iX6QhmeMe9SKiLs

Hey Joe, looking for some advice. Live in the Midwest-Nebraska. Always a little breezy. I would say an average of 6-10mph sustained with 15mph wind gusts (obviously some days worse and others better). I like up close trick flying, often 30ft lines, not looking for fast or powerful. I have been thinking the XX Tarantula but wanted to get your thoughts?!? I’ve flown dual line framed kites but new to quads.

Great question Garrett! My conditions are light (5-10 mph). This sounds similar to yours. My constant 'go-to' is the XX. If I had slightly higher conditions, 8-12mph, I would go with my favorite model, the XX Tarantula. I travel with 2 models: The XX, and the XX Super Tarantula (Full vented model of the XX). With these two models, I can fly in virtually any conditions from 0-25+ mph. I suggest the XX, and then next, a vented model for the occasional bigger days.

@@jhadzicki thanks so much for the input. I probably downplayed our wind conditions a little. For instance, right now it’s 10mph and gusting at 16mph. If these were the conditions always, would you recommend the XX Tarantula? Or do you still recommend the regular XX for a first kite? Not sure if they fly differently.
@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
@@garrettschultz127 Yes, these conditions (10 to 16 mph) are definitely XX Tarantula conditions.

is blast better or faster than the supersonic model?
@jhadzicki2 ай бұрын
Both Revs are fast. The Blast is much more stable, which is the reason most people choose the Blast.

@@jhadzickithank you. Is that the reson you dont have the supersonic on your website?

@@fibiger12 The Revolution 'SuperSonic' and 'Shockwave' were developed at the same time, but the characteristics of both models are very similar, so we discontinued the SuperSonic, allowing more room on our product line for models like the Rev Eagle and Condor: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gX3OhJieq7OXp9k
