I visited with our class in 2016, I didn't really pay attention at the time, I think. I was a bit out of it, I don't even remember anything about a horn. We had set sail from Norway a few days earlier, and arrived in Lerwick's port probably the day before the trip to Sumburgh. I have only a vague memory of a town with castle walls, tasting the famous Iron Brew, and seeing a beach covered in an absurd amount of seals. And I remember these grassy hills over the sea. I hadn't expected to see a video where I'd recognize them today, it took me a few seconds, then I had to look it up and double check. I heard the horn in the video a little after, an awesome sound. I don't think I heard it when I was there but makes sense, it was a sunny day. It's kinda funny, cause on the voyage back home the fog became so thick I could only see a few meters of water past the ship.

Stunning machinery. The horn blast was secondary to the magnificent build quality and precision of the machinery that went into making that blast for me.

I love to listen to this once in a while. Has a very satisfying but suspenseful build-up. Leads to a wonderful pay-of when the hauntingly beautiful horn blasts over the waves. Amazing, and i will come back to this video again for sure. Warm greetings from the Netherlands🇳🇱.

Походу в двигатель заливается даже не бензин или солярка, скорее всего это лигроиновый двигатель. Это целый пласт оборудования, на котором сейчас ничего не делают.
