Well done little Biologist! Are they all frogs or do you have toads and salamanders as well? Amphibians are indicator species and are used to measure how clean an environment is. Why do you think amphibians make good indicators of cleanliness? Is your environment clean? Amphibians used to rule the Earth! There have been some recent amphibian fossils discovered in the Scottish Borders at Romer's Gap! Keep up the great work and learning!

Thanks, I ran this by Erin, and she told me that when her mam was young there were no tadpoles in the burn ever, but since they stopped using sheepdip, they've started appearing. Thanks very much for your encouragement, it's got her thinking!

Having also raised sheep I understand how toxic dip is! But you need to keep those keds under control! Youuve in a beautiful area. I was lucky to play rugby there. So many wonderful opportunities for young biologists! Good luck!

Thanks! We'll need all the good luck we can get if we're going to turn the future around, and people like yourself are going to be paramount to the cause! Thanks for your encouragement!!

I am optimistic about the future. i was raised in Glasgow and the Clyde was a poisonous cess pool. Now they have salmon running the Clyde and other fish. As young people get educated about their environment, things will improve even more! That is what made me smile as i watched this wonderful video and listened to the young lady speak! Like a glowing ember being nursed and kindled! All the Best.@@jjjamieson4740
