My husband tells me all the time he does not wants me to be Americanized while living here in the states. Hopefully within two years i will be returning to the Philippines with my husband in God’s will.

@@RizandMe First the only diamonds or gold my wife wants is her wedding ring, she in truth pretty much views expensive jewelry the same as costume jewelry and she thinks there is a better use for the money.. My Filipina loves thrift stores, they love being frugal....I can';t sing but I learned the words to the Frankie Vali song 'You're just too good to be true". if you do this for her be sure to keep your cell phone in one hand to call 911 so the FD can help break the grip of the hug you will get. Another thing they love you to be spontaneous, if you are driving down the road and pass a flower shop, stop in and get her flowers once in a while also working in the yard, pick a flower and put in her hair the stem over her ear to help hold it there and tell her a beautiful flower for my beautiful wife, again you might need the cell phone for that 911 call. This should be enough for now

young Filipinas are not complex human being. They are generally happy to be with any foreigners. They realize life in the Ph are not bright. Foreigner give them opportunity to get out of hardship. Forming an alliance with older foreigner will help them gain wisdom and different perspective in life. Typically, life with foreigner improve their lively hood and hope for better future.

@@RizandMe Yes Riza. I moved to the Philippines in 2014 where I lived in San Jose del Monte for a few months up in Bulacan when I first moved there, then I moved down to General Santos City for about 6 months. When I left there I moved up around the city of Dumaguette where I settled in and mostly around that town in smaller communities around that area of southern Negros Island ,and traveled a lot back and forth to Cebu City where my wife's family lived ,and she taught school at the Little Bamboo Foundation for the very poor children there. I moved back to the states in 2018 due to medical issues and 6 months later I got her over here on a tourist visa so that she could help me rehab and we had every intention of going back, but the doctors had other plans and said my globe trotting days were over. So we put in for a change of status for her visa and got it changed to a immigration visa. She got her citizenship last August last year. Now working on her dual citizenship. We live down on the Mississippi gulf coast close to military bases and veterans hospitals for medical and base shopping now.

The fish looks like a pacu. But doing a google search says there is an edible pompano in the Philippines. I used to avoid shrimp with the head on, but after a l lifetime of never trying it, I found out that the head was the most flavorful, what they call Unami. Now I prefer head on shrimp. So, I imagine if a shrimp can taste that good, why not try the fish head as well.

Does she speak Tagalog or Basai? Tom and Jerry? LOL. I can relate to your feeling like you fall short on reciprocating the affection. A tip I will give you, while I was living with my wife in Angeles I had brought small bottles of perfume, lipstick and other things thqat I would randomly give her. Sometimes I would just give her a bouquet of flowers. What I found out about Filipina women, anything you do for them is held in high regards, they love and appreciate any kind of attention from you. Sounds to me like you and her are a good match and there are times misscommunication causes missunderstanding, I have gotten so if she says something that offends me, I realize english is her second language, I wait and ask her about the same thing again and sometimes again and as she rewords her meaning I understand better. Good luck

Thanks for making this video. I helps me to understand when my gf/fiancé comes here in 6 weeks 9/23/24. It's quiet here too in SC but 30mins from Myrtle Beach. Hopefully we can find some filipino friends. It takes time to get adjusted with the culture and surroundings. It will be a learning experience for both of us, so we can both co-habitat. I'm sure it'll be OK to be together. Thanks again!
@RizandMe
@RizandMe 7 күн бұрын
Glad the video could be of help to you. It is a bit of a challenge learning to live together with each other. My wife speaks English, but does not understand some of the subtle nuances that comes with growing up in a language. There is a lot of repeating as we often don’t understand each other but are working together to overcome this slight problem. We live in North Carolina and my southern English accent, sometimes is difficult for her to understand along with her Filipino English accent the same is true of me. We were four years with our long distance relationship. Covid drastically slowed down the process. My wife has been in the country now a year this month and she is enjoying her time. It is a sacrifice on both accounts, but it is all worth it in the end. I thought with being in a long distance relationship over the phone for four years would have prepared us for marriage and living together and I guess to some extent it did. But I have found that it’s just like a new relationship all over again because living on the phone is one thing and living in person is entirely something different. I wouldn’t trade it for the world. We love each other deeply. I hope you and your fiancé find similar love and happiness in your relationship. How long have you known one another?

Freezing slows down decomposition and growth of bacteria but doesn’t fully stop it. If you get sick from fish 99% of the time the bacteria came from the gut and the fish wasn’t ringed well enough. Do not freeze with the guts in the bacteria comes from the guts- for safety please gut first!!!

Dude, you r weird. Also cook with Avocado oil, not olive oil. Avocado has a high smoke point. Evoo is good for salads.

@@orinmangar2333 it’s me sir Riza thank you 🙏 for watching the video ,Well I checked the kitchen ,The oil I used was extra virgin oil ,Yes true ,avocado oil has a smoke point. And remember avocado oil also can used for frying, avocado oil is also praised for its health benefits, as it contains heart-healthy monounsaturated fats and antioxidants it’s very good on salad I agree I’m sure you are very good cook sir thank you so much for sharing your thoughts have a nice day.
