Background art is always so overlooked by most people. They really set the scene and many of them are amazing works of art all on their own. There've been a number of shows with background art that I'd see & be like, "that would look great on my wall!"

Samurai Jack had a great influence on me as a child, especially as a Turkish person, and knowing that one of its creators took inspiration from Turkey makes me very happy.Thank you so much for your efforts on Samurai Jack. also speacial thanks to Julian making this podcast. Note: I believe you visited before the production of Samurai Jack started. Turkey has changed a lot in a bad way the last 20 years, so you might not find what you expect when you visit again. For this reason, I recommend lowering your expectations. also your surname meaning is "king" in turkish :D

Thanks for the suggestion but I really don’t like being negative on things. I try really hard to say “it’s just not for me/not made for me” bc there are so many folks that work on all these shows and it would be a disservice for me to unjustly bag on something. There are other folks that do that, It would just weight heavy on my conscience.

Im 33 now since 3 days ago. Ed edd n eddy was one of my fave shows. I loved em all, but double D was my fave character 😂 me and my 2 younger sisters would watch this and paired each other off to one of em. Get out of the way kanker sisters. Lol. Course we would be hangin out in their schemes for fun. We kept ourselves busy the same way as a kid like the eds did. The hat thing would make sense considering when his hat was lifted Eddie said Eddie: "Woah...double d..." Ed: "COOL!!" And ed loves and calls weird things cool in the show in general. So u know it has to be something crazy/abnormal

Rewatching this, you can see that Samuel Vincent was emotional through this. But you can clearly tell that they really are such great friends and their love for one another means a lot to them. It’s also great to see that they are actually physically reuniting for Nostalgia Con this year. Even though I’ve never been to America it’s still really cool to see.

@@WhatsInMyHeadPodcast Not to mention many slapstick comedy shows are influenced by it. People often accuse Cow and Chicken of being a knock-off of R&S but it had some former R&S staff.

A lot of the staff from R&S as well as 2 Stupid Dogs. It was a huge influence on animation at that time, without R&S pushing the envelope and raising the bar for animation, I don’t know where we would be at. I’m glad it exists and I’m glad there is a fan base for it.

This is my favorite show of all time. I remember watching this so much as a kid, even recording episodes on VHS whenever it would be on, be it a new episode or an old episode, I wouldn’t care. My favorite episode was Piledriver, where Randy “Machoman” Savage appearing as Space Ghost’s grandpa and after interviewing Rob Zombie for a bit, his grandpa makes him go out and fight crime while he then interviews Rob Zombie and then Raven Symoné. I’ve never been a wrestling fan, so I wasn’t into it like others might have been who are fans of wrestling, but Piledriver is a hilarious episode to watch over and over again. I do wish the eighth and final season that was on TV got put out on DVD, though even if it was released there were still some episodes not included on the first volume due to not having clearance from certain guests as well as some episodes edited as a result of copyrighted material. Still, it seemed like a sixth DVD Volume would have come out with the last episodes, but it never did. But I am glad to have all the DVDs that came out, even the two volumes only available through Adult Swim’s website, which are now rare and are expensive to get on websites like eBay. If only the Adult Swim website still had the shop section where you could get DVDs and other merchandise that they used to sell, maybe there would have been the last DVD set released and possibly a complete series set on DVD and/or Blu-Ray. I believe most of the episodes are available on iTunes or whatever it’s called now, so at least all the episodes not on DVD can be purchased, which is good. Also, there were 10 seasons of Coast to Coast. Adult Swim’s website messed up as the last two episodes of the show listed are part of season 8, since those episodes are named after Allman Brothers Band albums, just like the other episodes of season 8, with the exception of Baffler Meal which was that seasons premiere. They also put Joshua, the season 4 finale as season 5’s premiere when it’s actually part of season 4, but the only reason those episodes are counted as part of other seasons is due to the fact they came out a year after the season it was a part of, with Joshua being part of Season 4’s weekly schedule which consisted of 25 episodes every week, something they never replicated again and with season 8, that season seemed to be in limbo of sorts since the scheduling of that season sort of goes from the beginning of 2003 with Baffler Meal and to then to fall of 2003 and then concludes with the last episodes in April 2004, around the series 10th Anniversary. Also in Live at the Fillmore, Space Ghost says “Show 7”, meaning that’s the seventh episode of season 8. I know that all might not mean much overall, but it’s unfortunate that those at Adult Swim don’t fix the error with these episodes being in the wrong place. Plus there were seasons 9 & 10 on GameTap, which aren’t the greatest episodes, but they’re watchable if you can find them all. Seems like some are lost with only a handful showing up here and there. It’s also amazing just how influential Space Ghost was not only for the various spin-offs and influences for future shows on Adult Swim, but thanks to Space Ghost, Toonami and Adult Swim were able to come into existence with many people who worked on Space Ghost coming to help create those blocks on Cartoon Network. This is an amazing video man, I love rewatching and reminiscing about Space Ghost Coast to Coast. Great job!
