This reminded me so much of early Doctor Who, which is a good thing, I kept expecting Patrick Troughton or John Pertwee to show up. Both contemporaries with this movie btw

I like Wild Wild Planet and War of the Planets, first two of the four Gamma 1 sci-fi movie series! Tony Russel and Lisa Gastoni star in those! Love the music in those! Both 1966! I saw Wild Wild Planet at the theatre, 7 years old, 1966! I need to get the dvds!

All four films have a special charm to them! May be cheesy in some scenes, that adds to them! Great sci fi of the 50s and 60s! Classics!

All for gamma 1 films. were made in Italy! Special note Green Slime is not associated with these films! Green Slime 1967, was made in Japan, the space station was Gamma 3. I love that film also,saw it at the theatre 1967! Robert Horton, Luciana Pulusi sp. not correct. Richard Jackeal!

Everything happens for a reason, and that reason is usually physics... but not in War Between The Planets. I'm a sucker for 50's and 60's science fiction, but this wasn't one of the better examples of the genre.

I nam trying to figuer out if this is Russian or British. They have the traditional British SI-FI costume, and have a few words that are British in nature, I forget which.

Just got to love how the Commander tears the female Lt a new one and then tells her in no uncertain terms that he wants to get her into bed, it wouldn’t be a “B” movie without sex rearing its ugly head, would it?. The Commander employs the “Don’t do as I do, do as I say” command style, and if that fails he uses his fists.
