Open the grapple, remove the tongs, put an actuator motor in and 3d print a nut and joints for the tongs

Hi, a great video mate i wish it was on youtube about 7 years ago i could have done with it then! the one i brought broke after 2 hours of using it until my son dropped the remote controll, because i dident know at that time, the first generation of the henglong 2A6, if you drop the remote control, it brakes the crystal inside it! i think the crystals in that generation was faulty and i only new that about 2 half years ago! so it spent about 5 years on the shelf!(me gutted! lol) anyway, i hope my 2 cents helps someone! so does anyone know how to change the crytals in the first generation of the heng long leopard 2A6 MBT tanks? ive got to say though i was WELL impressed when i opened the box and seen it it looks fantastic close up and what they can do nowadays, wow! i dident know how advanced they became! tanks are one of my favourate vehicles! anyway, take care and have a great day all

Now that U have connected the power to the wifi jst, U now have no 360° turret turn??!!. If U connected it to the mother board in the turret. Still would U have 360° turret turn!!.

I have ground pounder but I put brushless in it a 3300 kv mod 1 gears and metal drive shafts and clod tires and running a 3s lipo

If you don’t let it sit on the ground, you’re gonna end up ruining your servos because they’re constantly trying to hold the truck at that height. You dont have that issue when it’s raised because the servo horn and rods are all in a straight line. Also, couldn’t you reverse one servo so both rods attach on the top and the others on the bottom of the servo horn?

No, it does not slow the steering. Steering servo uses a different channel.

Does the non-sport chassis flex excessively? Have you had a chance to drive both and compare the handling? I was looking at buying the Hoonitruck variant just because that specific variant is reduced at my LHS. I also had no idea there was a 'sport' version let alone any differences between the two. Wish they'd do a kit variant with all upgrades included.

It seems to flex more but in my experience when it comes to handling and racing a car can be too stiff. I would like to believe the engineers knife more than me and they took that into consideration.

What i learned the difference in the monte carlo and the impala, the impala is a "hopper" where the monte carlo is a "dancer". Nobody's mentioned that lil part so if u buy the Monte thinking its going to hop out the box your worng... Itll dance out😂 point is the battery placement on the monte dont really matter considering its a dancer.

Nice comparison. There are even more Apex2 sport chassis variants. The new Datsun Truck has a different battery tray or tub, allows for a full stick pack installed on it's side. So weird!
