@beautybooster_diy48485 сағат бұрын
The recipe looks well-rounded and should work effectively as a rinse-off conditioner for dry, damaged, and frizzy hair. The combination of humectants, conditioning agents, and oils should provide ample moisture, smoothness, and manageability. If you find the conditioner too heavy or light for your hair type, you can adjust the oil and conditioning agent ratios in future batches. I do have a lovely hair recipe going on tomorrow so look out for that.

Doesn’t the magnesium chloride brine act as a salt so why would a preservative be needed as long as the cream is used up within 6-8 months? I’m thinking to keep it as natural as possible.
@beautybooster_diy48483 күн бұрын
Magnesium chloride does have some antimicrobial properties, but it's not enough to fully preserve the cream, especially since water-based products are prone to bacterial and mould growth. Even if used within 6-8 months, contamination can occur. To ensure safety and extend shelf life, adding 3g preservative is recommended. You can choose a natural preservative to maintain the product’s natural integrity while providing the necessary protection against harmful microorganisms. This keeps the cream safe and effective for use.

@beautybooster_diy48483 күн бұрын
Just replace the Marshmallow Root with whatever works well for your hair. To prepare a herbal infusion for skincare, use 1 tablespoon of dried herbs or 2 tablespoons of fresh herbs per cup of water. Boil fresh water and pour it over the herbs in a teapot or heatproof container. Cover and let steep for 20 to 30 minutes. Strain the liquid into a clean container using a fine mesh strainer. Allow the infusion to cool completely. You can apply it to your skin with a cotton pad, or use it as a facial steam, toner, or in homemade skincare products. Store in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Choose an oil-free, lightweight SPF to avoid clogging pores. For moisturizer, opt for oil-free or gel-based products that hydrate without greasiness, incorporating ingredients like hyaluronic acid for balanced hydration. Consider matte-finish options to control T-zone oiliness while nourishing drier areas.

@beautybooster_diy48485 күн бұрын
Combination skin, characterized by oily T-zones and drier cheeks, benefits from a charcoal face wash used daily. Focus application on oily areas to cleanse deeply to remove impurities without over-drying. Follow up with a non-comedogenic moisturizer to replenish hydration and maintain skin balance. It's essential to avoid excessive use to prevent stripping natural oils, which can lead to increased oil production and potential irritation. By adopting a balanced approach, cleansing effectively while preserving moisture, you can manage combination skin effectively, promoting a clearer complexion.

Yes mam ❤🫶😊 Mam can we use your charcoal facewash for my sensitive skin, combination skin, blackhead, Whitehead, some puss pimples and also little small tiny bumps 😢 can we use your charcoal facewash
@beautybooster_diy48486 күн бұрын
My charcoal face wash recipe is designed for oily and acne-prone skin. The activated charcoal, salicylic acid, and tea tree oil help cleanse pores and reduce acne. However, the presence of Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLS) can be too harsh for sensitive skin, potentially causing irritation. If you have sensitive skin, consider a milder surfactant to ensure it's suitable for your skin type.

@beautybooster_diy48488 күн бұрын
For facial scars, try aloe vera gel to soothe and heal, honey for its antibacterial properties, and lemon juice for lightening. Use rosehip oil or vitamin E oil to promote skin regeneration and apply vitamin C serum to boost collagen production. Regular exfoliation with a gentle scrub can also help. Always moisturize and use sunscreen to protect and heal your skin effectively.

hi! do i need to get the sorbitol or should i still be fine without it
@beautybooster_diy48489 күн бұрын
If you choose to leave out sorbitol without substituting it, your cream may not retain moisture as effectively, which can lead to a drier texture. The cream will still emulsify and blend well, but the moisturizing properties will be somewhat reduced. Substitutes for Sorbitol: Glycerine, Propylene Glycol or Honey Without a humectant, the cream might feel less hydrating on the skin. This can be important if you're making the cream for dry skin.
