I just bought the same side markers and have followed the entire steps throughout the video yet the side markers don’t come on at all when i turn on the lights.

I just installed them they work but when I turn my car turn car completely off and cut lights off from all rgb app a dem blue light still appears is that normal Im thinkin will it over heat my battery or will lights eventually go out ?

I have a 2013 civic just bought it pretty much brand new. I can't find rgb lights for it, only the halo lights that challengers use. I only can find 10th gen ones

I just got similar ones is it possible to just cut off the long red wire at the base? Would it still work? And would it be a hazard/short circuit?

I’m confused so which set of wires do you splice the new one with, the ones coming from the car or the ones coming from the headlights

If you were going to just wire both lights to work with the turn signal, you coulda spliced the long red wire, right into the positive wire of the amber light. Personally I’d want my white led on along with my daytime accent light. But you can wire that red wire into any one of your lights and will come on when ever that particular light comes on. Great video though, easy to follow and I’ll be using it to install mine this week. 👍

There’s literally no way to pull out that turn signal relay…I even had my buddy with small hands try with all his might and it won’t budge…

Ive wired the positive and neg to the jumper terminals under the hood, because battery is in the trunk. But no rgb lights only white light

The red and black wires are only used to power the rgb LEDs. The headlight portion of these is obviously powered by the headlight power when it is switched on. Connect the red/black wires to a constant power source in the fuse box if you want to have them on all the time. Just make sure to turn them off or you’ll have a dead battery.

The lights aren’t drawing constant power from the batter since they are being wired directly to the 12v right? And also it would be the same process to install on a different vehicle just different bulb size right?

Low chance of you replying, but I need help, I got the exact same kind of your side markers, but they are for whatever reason not sequential when I spliced them into the blinker and also they do not glow white when the blinkers are not on, I am confused as heck, I spliced the side marker wire(red) into the white blinker(grey connector) and didnt touch the black one, and it doesnt work, no sequence no white lights, idk what could be wrong.

have u tried giving power and ground to the side markers to see if maybe they are bad what i mean is take them off get the red wire and put it on the postive + side on the terminal red with red and take the black wire and put it on the - side of the battery see if it turn them on it it goes next thing u do it take the red and cable and take it off and on see if it makes the turn the seguuenve on

really they are led they take like no battery life i had them on once for 12 hours i forgot to turn them off one time

some time the splice doesnt cut the wire make sure it has been cut by the splice the rubber

When I did mine I had to manually open up the wires when connecting them to the red clip thing. I don’t think the metal blade was sharp enough to get my wires to connect.

You could have just removed the bumper garnish and installed the plate replicator that way...
