As it is a serie on the french revolution era, I do find the french better... I like the japanese BTW... but the Arabic version appears so weird.

In reality the French used the Italian intros and then used them on several anime, this is the original song kzbin.info/www/bejne/aqayk5-kq61jbcUfeature=shared

I'm not fluent in Japanese, only remembers some words I frequently heard from anime I watched. By hearing the original song, I feel like the Indonesian version has close translation to it! Check this link if any of you want to hear it kzbin.info/www/bejne/bmK3YZytntyio6s Just like Arabic ver, the Indonesian ver has same tune as well like the original...

Catala version is missing, probably the second best version after the japanese one.

I think the Ending theme is better than the Opening theme in catalan. The ending theme is definitely one of the best dubbed anime songs of all time.

It's a bit of a shame that the Japanese lyrics weren't adopted by other countries. She was a woman and a human being with a beautiful heart. It wasn't because she liked fighting, but because she simply followed the mission given to her. That's why her death is so sad. These lyrics are full of her sadness.

In the old time, there is not unusual for making the alternate song for opening of imported animes because of the royalty for copyright. Even in Japan they have done the same thing for Turtles and X-MEN.
