she is one of my favorite actresses. I find all the variety of work fascinating. Marriage Story, Black Widow, etc. She has a range in her portfolio, I look up to her. To have a variety like that means she is fighting for that variety to not be type cast into a box and live a variety of experiences. I also love her authenticity and strength in real life.

Let's put it to the test: if these questions are asked to a man (and they are often), are they sexist? No. Some may be inappropriate (for men too), but that is not what the title say.

JFC! Among all the interesting questions they could have asked her! I mean, you already have Scarlett Johansson in front of you, and you fucked up the moment like that?! 🙄🤦♀ Or is just that the interviewers like to see her mad?? Unbelievable..

Wow I've got to be honest I never really knew that much about Scarlett besides always thinking she was a stunning and seemingly quite classy lady, but this made me absolutely fall in LOVE with her!! Just because you're an incredibly sexy and gorgeous woman doesn't mean you're not also wildly intelligent and strong 💪 ❤️ 🙏 She handled that with so much grace and eloquence wow sorry I'm totally geeking out but I found this extremely empowering. Mad respect.

I'm a guy who, for whatever reason, never saw the attraction for her. She's ok, but not stunning. However, after watching her responses to these dumb questions, I suddenly feel a growing attraction. What can I say? I like smart women.

Asking about the outfits isn't a sexist comment. "Bro, you wearing shit under that wetsuit?", It's a valid question.
@GouacheGaming11 күн бұрын
I do find it annoying that she gets butt hurt about these questions but is perfectly ok with being sexualised by the producers of her movie. It's like u cant have it both ways, the producers are very much sexualizing's your character and expecting people to not notice it and ask questions pertaining to it is kinda delusional. It's like if she doesnt want these kinds of questions dont play the character or take the part.

I totally get her annoyance. A bunch of superficial dickheads asking her the same sexist questions over and over again. She's a bright young woman, with some serious acting chops... so many questions you could ask her.

So funny how when she questions the guy asking about her underwear he’s like “well…” and when she asked if he asked her co-star that question he’s suddenly like “OH NO, no no” like okay you fucking creep I see you…

I have so much respect for her... she answers each of those with such grace and is firm in showing just how ridiculous these questions are, all while keeping a sense of humor. She's so quick with it too... the "really?! Have you seen Chris Hemsworth?!" comment was so quick and such a perfect response... you wouldn't reduce his character to the "sexy one" so why do it to hers.

She was a beast in Black Widow and heard she was extremely friendly. I was setting up a movie event here in Vegas and missed her by a day. My boyfriend said she met the setup crew and hugged them all including him. He was “star struck.” She’s so beautiful and bad a** to me. ❤❤❤❤

The diet question didn't sound so bad, but the underwear questions were frankly disgusting. So inapropriate especially for a man to ask her, which was insulting. I would have been pissed.

I'm not stating with the following that Scarlet isn't a good actress. The thing is, whenever I hear some hot-looking actress being upset of objectifying questions, they don't seem self aware that in certaing point of their careers, maybe on a casting when nobody knew them, they probably got accepted for a role over a less hot-looking girl.

sooo.... people in comments being butthurt, saying only men are sexist towards pretty women. Just see questions Channing Tatum gets asked for "Magic Mike" and then come back over here and comment on "men are sexist". If men were acting toward Scarlett like horny gals toward Tatum, they would be incarcerated. But women acting horny, that is sooo okay nobody isn't even making a fuss about it. Because dudes don't whine like little girls!

Yawn…and insert an eye roll: These celebrities want to be taken seriously and admired and worshiped. By whom? You pander to Hollywood, play their games, jump through their hoops, and play cheesecake rolls!!! Even if they are so-called “serious rolls”, you’re an actor!!! It’s all pretend and superficial! Get out of your bubble! If you crave being admired for ANYTHING other than a fake persona on-screen, then get outta tha biz and follow Jesus Christ!!! Then p, trust me, you’ll get plenty of “complex” and existential questions!!!
