Quick question I got the code B00 26 When I turn the steering wheel at a certain position, the airbag light goes away, but when I turn it back to normal, the airbag light comes on and the service airbag message comes on. Do you think the clock is busted? I recently replaced the steering wheel about two months ago, and I just started to have this problem.
@RicksRides1

@@buddyrebel_Garcia it could be the clock spring but not positive, I was having a weird problem like that one time with the horn and it ended up being the turn signal switch, had a little brass button that wasn’t making good contact in the straight position but did when u turned…

I tried it. Another piece of advice: Slice the foam backing about 1/2 inch in from the edge of the rubber (don't slice through the rubber). Then pull the strip of foam out to relieve pressure on the rubber (it lets go easily). I was able to pull the rubber much further around the plastic backing without the foam fighting me. Then I screwed it in like you did - no wavy bottom line!

Thanks for the idea!! I ended up drilling 2 small holes under the 2 bottom screws, ran zip ties through the holes and through the clip to the left and right of that top mounted screw and it worked perfectly after tightening. I credit your idea for allowing me to come up with mine, appreciate you!!!!

But the antenna cable I was trying to tape the new antenna cable to it and it came off, so there’s nothing no way to pull it through now, so I have to take the dash part, anyway thank you very much. What a nightmare I have 2003 xlt 2.3L automatic truck I don't suspect it is leaking bad but I keep smelling ainteefreez when ever I shut truck off I smell it pretty good. And if I turn defrost on early in morning it totally fogs windshield for few seconds I think it's in the early stages of going bad or worse I really hate messing with the dash its probably worth 800 to me let shop do it so I can have the warranty. I thought it was lot easier than what you showed

Honestly it’s not that bad, just start it early on your day off, take your time not to damage anything since these trucks are getting older and the parts are getting harder to find.

After doing that video the new seal leaked worse then the last and I leaned a new trick, soak a paper towel in brake cleaner and after u remove seal wipe out all the old oil, repeat until spotless, the on new seal black RTV on the outer mounting surface and a lite layer of grease on the seal that the her Monic balancer rubs up against, and a lite layer of grease on the balancer it self then install, now I’m leak free.
