How to install a winch 2014 Polaris sportsman 570 winch install

thanks for this video. i bought a winch off amazon for my 2018 sportsman 570, and could not figure out how to mount everything without buying a polaris branded winch with all the right connections to wire everything in. Now after watching this video, i got my winch mounted with no problems

Great video buddy, very informative.I have a question, are those radial tires on the Polaris that you put the winch on and what kind of tire is it and what size are they? I have the same winch and the same bike (red) how did you wire into polaris orange and white wire, I wired mine all wrong redoing now as soon as you tell me how to hook into power switch lol great video good camera work thanks

what mouting plate did you use since i bought the same one but just came with a mout plate for the winch and have no idea how to mount it on to my Sportsman 570

Honestly I don't remember, maybe I did or maybe I just liked the wiring route better on the left side. Sorry I can't better answer ur question

RicksRides1 ok thanks. I tried to mount the LT 3000 today and it was too big for the mount. The fair leed nuts wouldn't fit bc the winch was in the way. Also the free spool knob prevented mounting. You used the SUPER WINCH LT2500 right?

I used Superwinch Lt3000, did u buy the right mounting bracket for ur atv. U can not use the supplied bracket that comes with winch.

Gravlee ADV I think after rewatching my video we did mount the bracket upside down for best fitment.

How do you reach the demand drive filler plug? Can you provide info or instructions? I'm having a hard time with mine because the winch is blocking the allen plug. Thanks.

could you recommend a good winch for lifting my plow blade up on the 570 sportsmen? The winch I have now fried out in the switch box and found out it burns out when used to lift plow blades!

I have had the Polaris 2500 winch for 4 years and had no problems lifting my snow plow . I would highly recommend this winch.

I have a quick question I have the 2015 sportsman 570 sage green, and I just ordered the warn provantage 2500, now I know my quad is pre-wired for keyed power ( orange wire by block) my main thing is it is also pre-wired for a rocker switch, would I have to cut that connection to make it fit the warn switch or would it just simply plug right into it

There are 3 pre wired key on power source under the compartment under your handle bar light under the storage box, use a test light to confirm.

+RicksRides1 I actually hooked up my led light bar to those connections and my bar will turn on without the key, but there is an orange wire that is supposed to be for rocker switch and apparently after you take the lower grill of two wires there for the winch itself

Double check with test light to confirm the power is only coming on with key on, and put a toggle switch on the led light bar still using one of the key on power source.

Juan Mendoza kfi and other companies makes a metal bracket that the winch mounts to and bolt onto the frame of the atv. Hope that answers ur question.

ok cool ill put it on this week i got the exact atv same color and everything love it gonna snorkel it and relocate the radiator to in these next 2 weeks

hey rick question did u have to reseal the Cvt i keep hearing the gasket lets water in and i just snorkeled my atv and im wondering if i should do it and is it hard

Juan Mendoza I really never had any problems with mine or my bros but once on mine and it was around the 200 hour mark but I would say it was kinda my fault due to I left it parked in a powerful river in about 2-2.5 feet of water trying to let it get cleaned off and I noticed my belt slipping but was able to drive it out and after about 10 mins no more problems but I went ahead and replaced the belt and cleaned the seal and reinstalled the same seal on cvt, but mine is an XP MODEL.
