Was that somebody screaming? It wasn't me for sure I lift my head up from uneasy pillows Put my feet on the floor Cut my wrist on a bad thought And head for the door Outside on the pavement The dark makes no noise I can feel the sweat on my lips, mm Leaking into my mouth I'm heading out for the steep hills They're leaving me no choice And see as our lives are in the making We believe through the lies and the hating That love goes free For want of an option I run the wind 'round I dream pictures of houses burning Never knowing nothing else to do And with death comes the morning Unannounced and new Was it too much to ask for To pull a little weight They forgive everything but greatness These are scoundrel days And I'm close to calling out their names As pride hits my face, yeah And see as our lives are in the making, quite enough We believe through their lies and the hating That love goes free Through scoundrel days I reach the edge of town I've got blood in my hair Their hands touch my body From everywhere But I know that I've made it As I run into the air And see as our lives are in the making We believe through their lies and the hating That love goes free Through scoundrel days Songwriters: Pal Waaktaar, Magne (mags) Furuholmen. Thus ended the clash at Gettysburg, the biggest and bloodiest battle ever fought on American soil. Combined losses from the both armies exceeded 53,000. The decisive battle sought by General Lee had ended in failure, but the spirit of the southern army was far from broken and the war would rage on for two more devastating years.

But from this war a great and powerful country has grown which guarantees that the mass of evil from Moscow, Beijing and other places will not dominate the world. God bless America

Randy Edelman did a fine job composing this solemn and somber track. It reflects the American Civil War well.

The music in the video before the Battle of Berlin sounds like the final part of Symphony No. 4 (Tchaikovsky).

I remember my dad literally would walk around and swear and cuss whenever A-HA was on the radio. He hated 80s music and artists with such a passion. To him, none of them were real musicians. Awful, synthetic, uninspired, 3rd rate trash. He kept tell me to listen to it was to fill your ears with garbage. Then he started talking about The Beatles and Rolling Stones like they were god's gift to mankind. Literally two druggie boybands. The Beatles be like "She loves you yeah yeah yeah" over and over and over through out the entire track, and he calls "...I cut my wrist on a bad thought" uninspired. Now I'm nearly 20 years older than he was when he said all that stuff, but I'm still openminded to new music like he never was. It's like he got stuck firmly in the 60s and couldn't let go.

I drove up to Gettysburg from Georgia in 2018 with my grandfather. We had an amazing time seeing the scenery and sites on the way up there. We both had a strong interest in history and always wanted to see Gettysburg. I'll never forget how emotional and amazed he was when he saw the battlefield up close. Sadly, he passed away in 2021, but the adventure we took is something I'm so glad we had a chance to do and something I will always cherish forever.

This is a “lightning in a bottle” movie. Much like Waterloo or Charge of the Light Brigade. A film that couldn’t be duplicated or replicated, even by director Ron Maxwell. Gods and Generals is lost cause propaganda and Copperhead makes a low budget film school students project seem like an Oscar contender. “We’ll always have Gettysburg”.
