Which plcsim advanced version do you use? S7 1507s is a software controller. Plc sim advanced support for software controller start from version 6. On plcsimadv v5 only 4 plc family listed, but start plcsimadv v6 there is an additional software/open controller on the plc family list. Let me know if you have a problem with that.

Havent test version 6.0, but as long as it compatible with the TIA portal version, i think no issue. For virtual machine, I use vmware, and windows 10 LTSC since it less bloatware version of windows.

based on the type or processor, it only support up to 32GB at max.

for RS485 with COM connection, you can install old modbus serial driver but there is some modification in configuration file since that driver no longer support recent version of SMC UI. You should edit the configuration as xml file and you good to go.

there are some possibility that could make illegal data addres happen : - the device id from modbus slave couldnt be reach by wonderware. Since I use demo version, it seems like only address 255 is allowed for configuration - the range of modbus address configured in wonderware more than what modsim (as a modbus slave) can be served or the range is offset. Kindly make sure wether you configured in 0 based or 1 based address.

I dont think it can. Based on the datasheet, Thinkpad T460 platform with 6 gen intel processors supported for i3-6100U, i5-6200U, i5-6300U,i7-6500U, i7-6600U which are all of these processors built with 2 cores 4 threads.

maaf sobat, saya ga ada listnya. memang ada effort lebih buat filter bloatware mana aja yg dihapus ya. saran saya, dibuat list aja ke excel, trus ditandain di excel. ntar kedepannya kalo butuh tinggal filter yang uda ditandain sebelumnya.

SO in this project when weight scale device connected to pc we get data from it and you know when the weight change the value of the port also change its continuously change.so for that how to test my app the above method you define working well till I am send some data but after that it will b empty. So, any way to send continuously random numbers from virtual port?
