It's a great entry-level 5 series, but it's by no means fast. The 5 series is just too heavy for a small 4-cylinder diesel. The I-6 powered 530d is when you start getting some real performance.

Have had mine for 2 months now....BEST CAR EVER!! Especially in sport mode...hugs the road, more power then any other crossover SUV in its class, and just a blast to drive! I’ve owned dozens of cars from almost every manufacturer, but my Edge beats them all!

Just one little tip to your driving.... You don't hold the steering wheel like that...i never saw someone sitting in an M2 holding the steering wheel like this..... You should always hold the steering at 3/9 position... Where the shift paddles are on the steering wheel...

@@googletop1989 You can get a 525D if 530D is to expensive in taxes... The 525D is a watered down 530D... The 525D is still a 6 cylinder and still very powerful unlike the 518D/520D! ;))

this car can be easily chipped to around 200hp so i don't think its that big of a deal that its 518d.. Relax, if you are interested in fast ride you can spend like 2000euros on some bike and ride 250 easily, this car is more about luxury not so much about performance but as i said i know that this engine can be chipped to 193hp and instead of 9 sec to 100 you can make it to around 8-8.5 and that's decent for normal people.
