This is the reason why I don’t respect Cane. I have a hard time understanding why he would go to such lengths to blackmail his own Pops out of jealousy, bitterness, and insecurity. He can figure shit out, but he fails to understand that Drew, Diana, and Monet would have eventually figured out why.

Because Lorenzo wasn’t treating his son very well before Cane found out about Zeke. So perhaps you probably should rewatch the previous episodes to see how it lead to that.

@@charodwhite6813 what does that got to do with anything? Lorenzo and Monet know how he is, he’s a soldier not a leader. The better way to clarify Cane is that he is a soldier who believes he’s the leader. He’s too emotional and too stubborn to recognize that he’s not ready for a major responsibility.

@@Jackson_Fitz Monet did look at Cane as a leader out her kids in the game. Not his dad so you clearly wasn’t paying attention to the previous episodes dating back to season 1. When Monet and Lorenzo had a disagreement about that while she was visiting him in jail. Monet knew what she was talking about. Especially since she been around Cane all his life while Lorenzo was in jail. So just go back to rewatch because I already rewatched all the episodes more than enough.

@@charodwhite6813 dude you have a different opinion than mine, I don’t believe that Cane is equipped for a leadership position. Dru is the one who shows calmness while Cane shows recklessness. Lorenzo knows Cane’s strengths and that’s enforcement and control, but his weaknesses is desperation and eagerness. You think he’s ready to be a leader? Then why did he kill Ramirez? Why does he hate Tariq so much? Why is he so jealous of Dru when he could have just been a supportive brother instead of a hater? Everyone on Power knows that.

Nah. Kanan would’ve probably whupped his ass but never killed him. You gotta remember, the only reason why he killed Shawn was cuz he was weak and he saw Tariq as more of a son than him. Cane was bout that life but wreckless so Kanan would’ve been more of a father to him than kill him …
