The better way to clarify Cane is that he is a soldier who believes he’s the leader. He’s too emotional and too stubborn to recognize that he’s not ready for a major responsibility.

@@Jackson_Fitz Monet did look at Cane as a leader out her kids in the game. Not his dad so you clearly wasn’t paying attention to the previous episodes dating back to season 1. When Monet and Lorenzo had a disagreement about that while she was visiting him in jail. Monet knew what she was talking about. Especially since she been around Cane all his life while Lorenzo was in jail. So just go back to rewatch because I already rewatched all the episodes more than enough.

Lorenzo knows Cane’s strengths and that’s enforcement and control, but his weaknesses is desperation and eagerness. You think he’s ready to be a leader? Then why did he kill Ramirez? Why does he hate Tariq so much? Why is he so jealous of Dru when he could have just been a supportive brother instead of a hater? Everyone on Power knows that.
