I learnt this song (1st mov) quite a few years ago, but back then I kinda hated it so I tried my best to “forget” it and never practiced it ever again lmfao. Now, with new-found motivation, I want to relearn it so I can recreate that one underground scene is the eminence in shadows 😂

My son did this piece as part of his assessments. Getting him to practice was a chore, none of his friends were quite as advanced and he just wanted to bum around and play video games like most 13 - 14 year old boys. Every now and then he would focus and when he did that I would find myself in awe of the beautiful pieces he was capable of playing - this was one of them which draws a lot of emotions. He is away from home this year on an exchange program and I miss him so much for many reasons, his music is one of them.
