When Covid came along all our clients disabled fingerprint sensors , and pivoted en mass , to face recognition with 3d templates , totally ignoring the fact that all biometric systems are probabilistic and best guess % match , so vendors dial back the threshold to have a workable and useable system. The new jargon of deep learning , AI , machine vision , agents , CNN , RNN all gloss over training bias - so whilst sold as the ' shiny new thing' it is hot off the press and has years to go before the tech is properly field proven and bedded down . Caveat Emptor. Over 90% of service calls are for the electromechanical devices , but bizarrely most meetings with enterprise security are about wether you use tripple des , AES , elliptic curve , secure access modules , surrogate keys . I'm currently testing out a HID crescendo c2300 card that is multi format and also a FIDO2 credential. The card I have for testing is SEOS, Prox, and Fido2. I have the FIDO2 and Prox working, but having difficulty understanding how to implement SEOS, and not finding much info online. Wondering if I could talk to you to ask a few questions. Also, if you are working for HID in the NY area, will you be at IEC next month? I'm planning to attend to try to learn and ask lots of questions.

Awesome job guys. Going back through and turning off 125khz on tens or hundreds of readers will be very time consuming with how HID has implemented the reader management app. Is there any plans to be able to manage multiple readers from a centralized location for bulk programming?

Do you have to create a separate cardholder for each site ? I have a site that is 30 miles from a federated site and I was wondering if there was a way to add federated doors to a card holder group on the server that has the federated role.

Do you need another plugin for using another AI functions? I am looking at Slip and fall, IVA for Object left in pathway functions (I have PNV-A9081RV) and temperature rise (I have TNO-C3022TRA). I would like it to get working, it would be best if I got events directly in Security desk. But all function I saw from Hanhwa plugin is for search which does not exite me that much as most of cameras I have are Axis anyway. Is this plugin just for search or does it handle events also? At the site I work with attempting to set up a schedule that restricts access throughout the night would implode on day 1. The work that needs done occurs throughout all hours on all days, and wedging in these little schedules around would do nothing but impede work, anger people, and double the complexity of our access configuration with no upsides. It also does not work for those annoying holidays that occur on a different day each year. When it comes to cameras, the recording is disabled if no motion is detected so that side of things dynamically adapts to activity already.

I know that I’m commenting on this video late but is there any way to get rid of the black outlines inside tiles when they’re a certain size. For example, i have two smaller tiles for doors we don’t rlly monitor as much but they are so small with very big black outlines at the top. Is there a way to maximize the camera within the tile on a saved monitoring task

Hi great video, how would you go about troubleshooting the mag lock not releasing during set schedule time for door? After this past Sunday time went forward and coming in Monday the store called saying the instead of opening automatically at 10am the mag lock to door seems to unlock around 10:30am
