Dean, things were so much simpler back then too. Now we get lost with rules and regulations for just about everything. I also wanted to take a moment to personally thank for taking the time to watching my videos, leaving a comment and for subscribing to my channel I truly appreciate it. My intention when creating these videos is to showcase not only the beautiful car but give the owner an opportunity to share their story, love and passion for their car. Thanks again Kevin.

I mate of mine has just acquired an 87 Colony Park. I'm thinking about grabbing it of him - it would be quite a rare car here in Australia, but I like wagons so it would be worth the hassle as it needs some work

From 1978 till 1984 I worked for a man named Jack Clifford building exhaust headers for 4 and 6 cyl. vehc. He used to race Hudson's back in the 1950's. We made several sets of headers for Hudson's and we also had a Weber carb. setup for them. Jack was a unique man for sure. R.I.P. Jack.6=8.

@@ClassicCarChitChat You are most welcome. Working at Clifford Research was one of the better jobs I've had in my life. And it was because of the people that I worked with. They made it fun to go to work. And that's something that is very rare. If I did any of the social media stuff. It would be cool to see if any of my coworkers are still around. I hope they are and that they have had a good life.

@@ClassicCarChitChat Absolutely! I have always loved classic cars. My grand dad used to have a red and white '57 Chevy Bel Air 4 door sedan he used as his daily driver back in the early 70's. (Also had a '55 Chevy P/U he used as his old farm truck). Ever since I remember seeing and riding in that car (and his truck too) I have been HOOKED. I love seeing videos and channels such as yours that discusses these cars. On my channel at the end of all my videos I always say "Keep the Classics Alive" because I think the beauty and style of these cars should always be remembered and celebrated. Again, thanks for posting and continued success with your channel.

When I say this video the memories of my grandpa came rushing back. My grandpa was the local mechanic in Cedarburg WI. He was given a Hudson Hornet by a local businessman at one point in lieu of payment. He loved the Hornet but always had his eye on the Pacemaker. He then bought a Nash Lafayette too. He would have loved this Pacemaker.

Styldsteel, please send me a link to your video and we can add it to my comments and hopefully get you some traction. In terms of views.. I have no answer. The KZbin algorithm is what determines so much behaviour including recommended or suggested videos. I have given up trying to understand it. I have made 150 plus videos and still can’t understand why videos I think are going to be so popular barely get views and others surprise me. Sorry not much help. First off, thank you for letting me share the link to my 49 Hudson Commodore. There are creators here who get real touchy about that. Seriously. I wish the teens and 20 something year olds who run KZbin would just stop with all these algorithm games they are playing. Not to toot my own horn here, but the 49 I took ownership of, here I am thinking no one gives a you know what about my Hudson, but the real story is KZbin is intentionally hiding my uploads. Anyway, I uploaded another video of this same car, what it's like to own a 75 year old car. Same thing.....no views. That's Impossible. Only 30 people care? KZbin hid that too. I'll link it here too, if thats ok.
