When you actually listen to Jimmy in podcasts, he is absolutely self aware and down to earth. He knows these jokes are just oneliners.

Yeah he really went off on the transphobic EVERYONE IS CANCELLING ME aging comedian pipeline.

Jimmy Carr is actually incredibly wise and insightful, which shocked me. It’s not like I don’t think comedians can be intelligent, but seeing it is something else entirely.

It’s almost like he’s a comedian on stage and a real person off. What a crazy idea ik

His mates won't believe him when he tells them how he made a comedian's joke better and everyone loved it!

I gotta agree. Fruits are a snack or dessert. Food is the good stuff you’d fill up on. Also you gotta have food at a party. Party time is the time to invite your friends over and get them all good and fed! And also socialize. And you also bring something as a guest! Make it a big thing!

Any time I hear the name jimmy carr all I can think is “who the-oh wait that REALLY weirdly shiny guy? Like the guy who looks like his skin and hair were glazed in the most reflective oil ever made? Why is he so shiny?” Like genuinely, putting aside how I feel about him as a person, the first time I saw what he looks like, I was just genuinely worried he had some kind of medical condition. Like “why is he so shiny? That doesn’t seem healthy? Does he need to see a doctor? Has he already? I am confused and alarmed by this shininess of this man.” Like I do not like carr at all, but I still feel that wave of shock, horror, and concern every time. That level of shiny just seems like he either has a health condition or bathes in a vat of oil 15 times an hour, which also seems unhealthy and concerning.

Let me remind you that 11-grade students (basically middle-schoolers at last year of education before graduating and being able to apply for the universities and stuff) are obliged to read the "Тихий Дон" (Pacific Don or Quiet Don, I assume. Don is a russian river btw. But there is a russuan lexical techique that can describe not the thing itself, but something connected to it. For example: "There was some soup. I ate three bowls." We don't eat the bowls, but whatever is in it.) from Sholohov, where there is LITERALLY well-described gore and intestines out of bodies and all of that while the person is actually alive and everything from emotions to feelings is vividly described. My classmate even asked: "Is it okay for us to read this?"

Idk, I (American) had one layover flight in London, and I had a flight attendant over me “a choccy bar for dairy dodging choccy chompers”. I’ve never wanted to say shut to a stranger more in my life.
