The orange dots are telling you they have unlockable/upgradable Passives. Also Quick Level Up lets you jump any number of levels at once, while Level Up forces you to do one-by-one.

It makes sense there's a shitton of unlockable characters when you remember the original phone game was a Gacha, which was then ported to Steam. It recently hit end-of-life, and instead of just letting it die, CAPCOM earned 500 based points by making this offline version with all the non-crossover content and removing the gacha system entirely in favor of a zenny shop.

I think I've been mispronouncing "Aile." Sounds like she introduces herself pronouncing it like "ay-lu," which is deeply confusing to me. Oh those wacky pronunciatons...

Zero and ZX era character names are French in origin. Aile's name is pronounced like the first syllable of "ailment", and means "wind" like her male counterpart's name: "Vent".

I wonder if the Earthlings moveset in Xenoverse 2 changed or not? Since in Xenoverse 2, the Saiyan CaC moveset is used a lot (and I can understand why compared to Xeno1 Saiyan moveset)

I... don't know right off hand, to be honest. I'm sure the basics are at least pretty similar, but I'd have to compare. ...Truth be told, a lot of my muscle memory is from XV2's Saiyan CAC. It took me forever just to recall how good guard cancels are in the first game. (They're still good in XV2, but you have a lot more options in that game.)

I initially was putting XV2 off because I thought "Eh, I'll do it when the DLC is all out." ...And then they kept making more DLC. And more. And more. Then as I mentioned, Shads and I were gonna do it together and it fell apart. So yeah... it's just like "Okay, I get it. I'll do it after this playthrough!" ...And then they made more DLC. I don't really have much in the way of interest toward Sparking Zero, honestly; out of the Spike-developed titles, I only like Tenkaichi 2 and Tenkaichi Tag Team and found the rest to be pretty lacking (I do still intend on going back and doing the extra What If stories in Tag Team, mind you. I just haven't gotten around to it). More Breakers is certainly intended, but it depends on the game actually playing nice! Ranking along with the weird region restriction stuff kinda borked matchmaking pretty hard; the last time I tried to play my group and I couldn't get any matches and on the rare occasion I did actually get into a match, the game broke and booted me back to the title screen. I swear, someone's making the most baffling decisions with that game and keep trying to fix things that aren't broken. So really, part of the reason there hasn't been more Breakers is just the game not letting me play!

So it's a bit later than I intended, but it's finally here (again): I've been pretty mopey since Toriyama's passing. The man was a huge influence on me growing up (and even to the current day). I don't think I can ever quite express how much his works meant to me, but I suspect a lot of you guys probably feel the same way. I've certainly never made it a secret that I adore Dragon Ball, but I'm also fond of the exceptionally silly Dr. Slump, and of course I adore the man's work on stuff like Dragon Quest. I'm also not ashamed to admit I built a Goku plamo after Toriyama's passing. Toriyama's works were incredibly imaginative, goofy, and brilliantly illustrated. The way he could make movement jump off the page with his swift, eye catching paneling holds up to such an absurd degree that it looks more animated than the animated series! And even though his artstyle changed a lot over the years, I don't think he ever lost that ability to make great art that looked like it was so effortless (seriously, check out the stuff he did for the later Dragon Quest games; it's superb). I could do a million videos on the franchise and never run out of things to talk about, from his funny little details, the goofy gags, the silly puns, to the stellar action scenes filled to the brim with iconic shots and standout personalities. And a number of shockingly well-timed fart and poop jokes. Seeing so many people still mourning his passing and praising his works is really heartwarming, and it's almost crazy seeing just how far the man's influence extended across countless cultures. Dragon Ball may have been an actual universal language. Simply put: There will never be another Akira Toriyama. Rest in peace, you magnificent funny poop joke man. You might be gone, but your legacy and influence will inevitably keep igniting countless imaginations. So hopefully you guys can at least enjoy a dippy Vtuber enjoying one of the many games based off the man's incredible works. On a less mopey note: I believe this is the first game I've begun recording using a new set-up for recording off console; you shouldn't hear background noise from the game itself as I finally got things set up in a way to use my headphones on my TV. Won't help in every situation and it does make syncing up things a bit harder, but hopefully it pays off! (Though I can also sync things somewhat if audio comes out of the controller speaker, but that's situational.)

Also, just a follow up: the weird framepacing issue doesn't seem as present in the edited video for some reason? I think maybe it's because the framepacing was designed for 60fps but the game is capped at 30 or something, but the finished video is at 60fps (because that's what my Vtuber avatar displays at) so maybe it unjankified it? I dunno. I'm no tech expert; I'm just glad that it looks less wonk.
