Assuming the set up (amp, pedals, guitar tone + volume knobs) are all the same, fender has slightly more bass/ depth. PRS has more sharpness and presence

Wow, I've got that same guitar from the Mid 60's with the case. Its identical to your's except it has a white pic guard on it. I still play it. It works and sounds great.

I love it how people will make up any excuse they can pull out of their ass to defend paying the extra $1,000 for the name on the headstock 🤣😂 I’m guilty too!! I am a devout Gibson guy! I will NEVER buy an epiphone!!! Why? No reason. It just has to say Gibson on the headstock. They both look and sound great! But at least I’m honest about it. These 2 guitars in the video right here sound EXACTLY the same!

Honestly i believe it has tons to do with where the HUmbucker is placed and split ....If it is put directly where a normal single coil would be and then split on that side you have your sound. Im not sure. Im just thinking aloud. As long as it gets that 5ish k output while split. ?

Strat sounds better to me

I prefer the Fender, the PRS is a great guitar too but it sounded muffled to me.

Before I became homeless I'd always have both a Les Paul and a Strat. When I was in the military I could also afford to have an acoustic and a 12 string too. I just love guitars and I just hate being homeless
