Content of your videos has got some potential to become big, but it requires more of an explanation, I dont think viewers dont have to know how you ve got there, but we would like to know whats Taroko national park, some explanations of trail. its love to know how its like by looking at it, but it seems to be real silence.

Thank you for your comment, and I very much appreciate your honest and constructive feedback here. In all my videos, I usually leave links in the video description that lead the viewer to further information about the places we visit. In my videos, I tend to focus mainly on presenting the views and sounds of the natural environment we see, rather than talking over this. I have thought about how I could incorporate more explanations in the videos without taking away from the above. However, I haven't quite figured it out yet, to be honest. Through feedback like yours, it allows me to focus on it more and problem solve. So thank you so much, and I look forward to further feedback from you as my videos evolve over time :)!

Such an amazing walk eh??? ! I'm from Brisbane but was in Korea about two weeks ago. I did that walk and was so surprised at how much adventure you can have just a short metro ride from the centre of the bustling city of Seoul. It was the middle of the week and there were quite a few walkers; 80% of them would have been over 60 years. What a way to stay young. So the walk up was challenging and had amazing views. Which way did you go down?
@edyhekul8 күн бұрын
Wow, we would have been there at the same time! Yeah, it's great. All these walks are so easily accessible from the metro line and so close to the hustle and bustle! The hiking demographic is interesting there :P but yes, it's good to see so many healthy and active people. I ended up going down the same way I came up. What about you? What part of this area did you see?

@@edyhekul We went up the main trail to Sinseondae Peak, then we followed the ridgeline north but bypassed the peaks on the 'Y Valley' detour. There wer a couple of other good viewing spots looking back over the main peaks and then the trail heads down a bit of a gully to the north. This track had very few people and some wild rock faces to climb down, including one that was basically a vertical descent on a rock face that got narrower and narrower. Thank goodness for the handrail system... and for an older Korean hiker waiting at the bottom who gestured to me to turn around and climb down backwards. Good advice. It was such a fabulous day out and beyond what I expected of such a park.

Old mate must be so fit! That climb didn't look easy. And he's sun safe wearing all his long sleeves and gloves. He is going to easily live to 100.
@edyhekul18 күн бұрын
Yeah, he was flying up that mountain. Should we go a step ahead of sunscreen and start wearing sleeves too?
@hptfalcon168318 күн бұрын
@edyhekul I think it all depends on conditions. Humidity and how shaded the track is makes a difference. As long as you reapply often I think it's OK.
@edyhekul18 күн бұрын
@hptfalcon1683 totally agree. I'll stick to reapplying. Maybe the sleeves also help to hike faster in windy conditions? 😉

@@edyhekul The mountain I was referring to is called 水社大山. (Translate this webpage to get a basic idea: zh.wikipedia.org/zh-hans/%E6%B0%B4%E7%A4%BE%E5%A4%A7%E5%B1%B1). I was wondering if you’re using AllTrails. Download this app if you haven’t. Taiwan is home to 200+ mountains over 3,000 meters tall. If that sounds like a tall order. You can start by hiking in Yangmingshan (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yangmingshan) in Taipei. Have fun. BTW, I’m Tom. A Taiwan native who likes hiking in interesting places. This coming July I’ll be hiking in as many national parks in WA as I can (it’s winter, I’m aware). Anyways, enjoy your stay. Cheers.

Whilst the Grand Canyon in the good old 🇺🇸 may be larger. however ….. The Canyons of the Blue a mountains are 10x older. The rocks under the Blue Mtns are roughly about 470 million years old, Blue Mtns cover approx 11,400sq klm Blue Mtns National Park covers 2690 sq klm Highest elevation is Mt Werong at 1215m I believe the canyons and valleys of the Blue Mtns would be equally awesome if they were denuded with their rock formations and strata. Seeing as they are much older and have had time to grow vegetation, they have a beauty all their own, with many tracks and paths for everybody easy, moderate and active. Great place to visit for 2 or 3 days, too much to see and do all in one day, but if that’s all the time you have, start early and go for it.
