I lived probably no more than 5 miles from this ranch for a couple of years. I hiked the mountains, fished kangaroo lake. I never saw an elk in this area. Not once.

@FishHuntBBQ I lived on grouse Creek which is maybe 5 miles away as the crow flies. Hiked, shot and fished the entire area. It's odd I would miss that. Saw plenty of everything else, dear, bear, etc

@@robsaxepgamaybe so, but I have hunted at and stayed in the main house of AP several times. The owners are close family friends and I can ensure you there have been elk on this property numerous times in the last 60+ years.
