Doesn't sound much like my life. A good part was playing pinball at the Broadway Arcade from open to close 7 days a week. I really packed them in and Steve made all the money thanks to me packing all the people into the arcade.

I love pinball, but this is such a low effort "documentary", if it can even be called that (it's more of an extended interview, at best, of a family member or of a friend of a friend (and LOL, the video is playing music from "Black Knight" pinball, which isn't even featured in the video -- really amateurish "documentary" filmmaking)).

Love the vid. I began to repair vintage stuff about 4 years ago. Sadly I'll health has prevented me from moving on. But one issue that I didn't anticipate was the disappearance of radio stations on the MW and LW bands. What's the point in restoring valve equipment now ?

Pinball seems to be in full swing again these days. I'm sure there's plenty of private owners but they're in public places too.

I love this! I just found an old panasonic radio in an abandoned house and I've been itching to get it working. The inside is totally clean and almost entirely free of corrosion but I have no idea where to start. Any suggestions on books, people, or videos I could consult?

For the fall zone, is there an affordable and safe alternative to laying out multiple crashpads? My wall will be indoors (garage) so have space to store away right next to it. Thanks for the help!

@WrongHorseProductions3 жыл бұрын
Mattresses are usually fine. Maybe a crash pad on top of your going high or in a position where the fall is gonna be awkward

No one buys second hand mattresses. But people want to get rid of them. So you can usually get them for free.

A pretty interesting watch. I have played a lot of pinball...and made a lot of documentaries. After about three minutes I noticed the info about the ‘48-hour challenge.’ Then everything started to make sense. You can only get so far in 48 hours, eh. What kind of cameras did you use? And what kind of mic for the main interview? I hate to think of how many of those 48 hours you spent working just to get it all looking and sounding good. Good job!

Thank you. So this was done using a Panasonic G7, and a Sony 6300, with a rode Filmmaker lav kit into a Zoom H4N. It feels like forever ago, but it was a great learning experience. Thanks for the feedback.

Thomas, Do you undertake refurbishing of audio equipment? I have an Akai GX-635D reel to reel recorder with the late 70's components in the audio path. I am hoping to find someone who would go though the unit and upgrade the circuits to take advantage of the better components, transistors, caps etc. Would this be something that you would be interested in?
