Idk if you will ever see this but I was wondering if y’all take in any ball repairs from others? I have a ball that needs some glueing and I’m not too familiar with that area if you could help out.

Mi balón tambien es adidas, igual al del videlo, y se pinchó con un alambre que habia en la pared. Y los zapateros de ahora ya no parchan los balones de cuero, ahora solo se dedican a arreglar zapatos de mujer.

American football valves can't be replaced this way. Here you change the bladder after opening the big white seam. Replacement valves for footballs have to be in another shape on the upper part for holding it in position.

If you moisten the needle frequently while pumping that ball it lasts for a long time without problems

I have a bunch of these old starballs. 2010 madrid, 2011 wembley, 2012 munich do not hold air I suspect the bladder inside has completely disintegrated, 2013 and newer hold air just fine and bounce like they are new. Adidas must have changed something in 2013. They were only stored in the closet in the boxes, not squished at all, now they are all flat and egg shaped :( I think I may need to put a gallon of tire slime in each get them to be round again. I don't have any of the older teamgeist and fevernova finales, do those have the same issue as the early starballs? I have a 2010 WC ball that I *still* play with and it is completely worn out and yet that one still holds air !

Maybe from 2004 to 2013 is this issue. I've seen this problem all along on these Adidas balls.

What would you recommend? for just the panels some of them are ripped some of them are just gone and some of them are sticking out and the panel around where you inflate the ball is ripping any ideas of how to repair? It’s size 5

It is important that the panel is firmly attached to the substructure. I use contact glue for this. The only purpose of gluing the panels together is to make the ball waterproof. To do this, I let a little bit of all-purpose glue run into the seam.

What all purpose glue do you recommend? This is 2014 Europa league official match ball. I have had it for years, just noticed the glue around the panels starts cracking up.

Das Mittel besteht aus Naturlatex, welches im Ball fest wird. Nach einiger Zeit (ca. 1 Woche?) sollte der gesamte Inhalt fest sein. Ab dann besteht in der Regel auch keine Gefahr mehr außer man hat eine Latexallergie.

Wenn man den Kleber in der spritze macht und den in das Loch wo die Luft raus kommt rein spritzen kann

Ob es mit Fenistil klappt, habe ich noch nicht probiert, denke aber, dass das nicht funktioniert. Man kann auf jeden Fall Pannenflüssigkeit für z.B. Autos über eine Spritze in den Ball geben. Die fließt an die richtige Stelle und verstopft das Loch. Kleber würde wahrscheinlich einfach nur rausgedrückt werden.

If you use the spray, more air is not necessary. You can pump the ball with only the spray.

There are alternatives instead of special tools, and you can lube the new valve, so it gets in easier.
