From what I see in grisaille it is built from the stain and in verdaccio from the line and then the stain is completed, I prefer grisaille method

I use the same fixative and love it! I use it sometimes several times on one piece and it allowes me to apply more layers of pastel. I’m newer to pastel art and know it darkens the color but it helps me at this stage of my pastel paintings.

I looked at the woman’s face and thought Is my tv moving a little bit, so I moved forward to have a closer look and then she blinked. She’s not a picture! Can you be;ieve that for 34+ minutes her neck and back are killing her as well as the very probable nose itch!
