Let me make it easier for everyone, and hit two birds with one stone... If you want to survive Hardcore WoW, all you have to do/know is: "Be really good at Albion Online". Same goes for if you want to survive Albion Online: "Be a good player at WoW". NGL, Albion is a lot easier than WoW, but Albion helps you learn the basics a LOT quicker and easier. Meanwhile, HWoW is kinda... "Eh, you can do it if you try long enough."

The most important one. Have fun. If you are a min/maxer, want to know everything about the game, all tips and tricks, go for it. And many thanks for such videos. But you don't have to be a min/maxer. You don't have to install add-ons if you don't want. You don't have to use optimized build and go exactly as it's stated in the guides. Learn yourself and have fun. I found myself in this spot. Casual, even bad player. I decided to play new classes on hardcore. Limited guides. Only basic add-ons, like Auctionator. And that's it. I'm slow, don't have BiS gear, but I have fun, make friends. I tank and heal successfully in dungeons. I just feel, that there is a lot of pressure lately.

Ever mage ever is taken from D&D and check which spellls are good in D&D. Arcane Cricle seem like its taken from WoWs old ability which was removed becuse all mages disliked it ALOT

I was wondering for affliction in aq40 phase 6 with soul siphon/master channeler what is the order that u open. Cuz u r running to the boss on almost every boss fight due to the insane aggro range there is no sbolt precasting. I notice ppl casting shadow flame, corruption, ua then agony is it cuz they want to save their on use trinket for the amp agony or is it better to use the trinket on pull?

I want a spell that send waves of AoE emanating from me. Id say similar to autos and beams its aligns with the spell I just casted, and each element has its unique upsides.

Been a mage main in wow for ~15 years or so and the ashes version looks like it holds a lot of the core stuff i love about wow mage but with their own spice added too it. Looks so fun man i wish it wasnt so expensive to play the game rn but been enjoying the videos!

Mage is more of an elementalist, it has one pure magic spell, all the rest are elements. I will say archeage skill/ class build system look superior in this aspect.

I am curious what armor set to go with? Especially for crafting

If you group with a random player. Expect them to for no reason pull the whole group of enemies. Happens almost every time some guy comes up to me “let’s clear this camp together” BLAST

Line of sight to avoid casters if the probably the tip that got me killed the most. Mobs dont care about walls, mountains/cliffs, or buildings. All their spells will still travel through all objects to hit you. The ONLY time this works is in a dungeon where the pathing and walls is literally set. But never try to hide behind objects like trees, cliffs, walls anywhere. These objects dont count as solid objects so enemy spells (and your own spells) can shoot through them perfectly fine.

I like the idea of having a single ability and it changing with attunement. So have 3 base abilities to change attunement then everything is a template on top of it. Cone of elements, damage type and effect is different with attunement.

rolled a tank after mage and need to go back. shell and blink are such a nice quality of life. I don't think its like every other game most gaems yo pick fire, ice, lightning mage. here you have to spell weave to get the best results ..nvm you got there... xD

I only hope that if Intrepid adds utility to mage, then it will be at a COST of raw dps.

The player culling is soo bad. That bridge encounter was a good example. Intrepid needs to have a default character model where everyone looks the same and therefor, more people load into the scene from further away. It's to easy to get the drop or get dropped on from just a few meters away.

Alpha, Beta and Early Access ruins MMORPG releases for me. All these guides and information is already gonna be out before the game is released. Meta already developed. I was so excited for this game, but this shit killed the game for me. Just let us go into the game knowing nothing.. let us explore and theorycraft at an even level playing field... I like the living bomb idea for each element. Would be cool if it was a skill point for your weapon enchant so you could buff your friends weapon and turn them into a bomb

I feel like blizzard should be castable at a location instead of on top of us. Also think we need some kind of interrupt like counterspell.
