A bit of advice for Matt It’s best to do some research into a club’s situation before making sweeping statements. Southampton never made an approach for Danny Rohl because the composition is too much in the region of 12 million, and to suggest Southampton were wrong to sack Martin is ludicrous. He had completely lost it tactically, and it’s funny you say all that about Juric that he failed at Roma, but that’s not a barometer to say that he won’t work at Southampton.

We all love Sam Morsey unfortunately that is not enough. If he is going to play the same position/system we will be overrun in most of our matches. Playing with enthusiasm and energy without support is exhausting.

We played like a Division 1 team ( bottom of the table). Our team setup was poor, and we missed a chance to play an intelligent defensive formation. Losing was not the problem playing like headless chickens was. Throw in a goalkeeper that plays badly and we were lucky we only conceded 4.

My wife is available to play in goal for the next game. Like Muric she to can't save anything.

Conundrum for Ipswich owners, (a) keep McKenna and get relegated, he'll get the team back up again or (b) sack him, in an effort to remain in the Premier League?

Don’t want to hear about our ‘journey’ anymore as Leicester are garbage and we should be finishing above them (at the very least). However, our summer transfer business mixed with tactical and philosophical naivety may relegate us. Part of the summer transfer business should have been a Leigh Davis type RWB to allow us to revert to a 5 at the back (should plan a not work and for away games) and still threaten on both channels and be direct if needed. An experienced 9 should have been the first signing of the summer. Crazy level of naivety not to do this.

no matter who’s missing from our starting line up isn’t a excuse at all. Muric is and will be our number 1. Although he should scrutinise his own performances and stop trying to be clever. We are a lot better than what we have put on show this season Onwards. 💙

Newcastle supporter here. Soft spot for your club, obviously. Serious question, why do you guys insist on playing out from the back (especially the short passes to your central midfielders) when you see that we are pressing you. I simply did not understand it.

Newcastle fan here. I think Delap not playing was such a huge blow for you because from the outside looking in he looks like your main man. We had a suspended player too in Joelinton who's a huge player for us and he's in most starting lineups, but luckily we're stacked with quality in midfield so us missing Joelinton was nowhere near as much of a blow as you missing Delap. Best of luck for the rest of the season 👍

The Muric howler was 3rd time town did that move in out through the middle of the box, first two times it was fine but do it 3 times against a team like Newcastle and they will read it faster and punish you. Bit of a mug move to think it will work through an entire 90 mins. Omari first half was his worst 45mins unfortunately wasn’t hungry enough to block that 2nd goal despite being positioned well and he gave the ball away more than anyone else, McKenna would have seen those stats at half time so took him off. But hats off to Newcastle, they were class today

Newcastle fan here, my sympathy is with Ipswich fans today, you got us at our best today unfortunately for you guys. When Newcastle shut teams down high up like that we can make any team look bad. You’ll have a good season as Ipswich fans if your team can play with a little more bravery but today was over before it started.

It was tough for you today especially with Delap being suspended who would of gave our Centre Half's a torrid time. You've just played us at the wrong time a few weeks back we were awful and there for the taking but Howe has got the make up of the team right and Tonali has been a game changer for us. You'll be fine and have enough to stay up, keep the faith. Once you get that first home win you'll be flying

I disagree with McKenna and some fans about referring to ‘our journey’ when we lose - why bother at all if you’re constantly going to reference players and the clubs comparative limitations. At our best, I think we’re capable of finishing above 17th, but not with the current tactics or the formation. In the final analysis, this is the managers responsibility and needs to change.
