I bought one by Navy Arms a little bit ago and it is a delightful little rifle, the designer apparently hunted big game with an example and his load was stout!

1 in 9 twist? If you are only shooting 55 grainers, that’s fine. For a bench gun or long range varmint, I would prefer a 1 in 7 with heavier bullets. Just my honest opinion. To each his own. Good video.

Brother has a RIA 10mm 1911 in SINGLE STACK. It jams on the feed just like your close-up. Tried 3-4 different magazine brands with varying feed-lip lengths, including a Wilson Combat that every post about the issue was recommending. Nothing fixed it. Attempted to send it back for inspection/repair but had a hiccup with the original seller delaying(forgetting) the return to RIA. Upon realizing this after two months of waiting, He requested to just get the gun back. He was pretty upset but after getting it back we went back out to the range and put some more rounds though it (one at a time :P) It jammed continually, even marking the casing dramatically and compacting the bullet back into the casing in most instances. However after a few more trips and letting it jam and jam and jam... It seems to have "broken in." All 4 brands of magazine are functioning well. Still more testing and range time needed to see if its fully reliable but just figured I would add this in case anyone with a single stack 10mm version was curious.

Actually yes! I've been very busy with potential fatherhood for several months now. The lesbian couple who live next door decided they wanted a child. They both seem to think I'm a nice guy and decided to approach me for help. Since they don't have a lot of money, they decided we should go about it the old fashioned way. In truth, I'm almost to the point of exhaustion but don't have the heart to tell them that I had a vasectomy 25 years ago!

I really wish these were made with all stainless steel components. I wouldn't mind the bit of extra weight with the trade-off being that the firearm will last an eternity.

The MicroRoni was a bit short. CAA solved that with the Gen2 brace from SB tactical and also the Gen 2 and Gen 3 stock. I have 4 platforms of MCK as they had BOGO sales in the colors and well, spray paint works. .45, 10mm, .40 and 9mm. All run great. Glock, Taurus and Springfield. Why buy a PCC with a 5" barrel for 1200+ when you can buy a chassis and put your already familiar pistol in the chassis?

I bought a Gen 1 new around 1984 or 85. I have the 38 Special/357 mag, the 44 mag, and the 410/45 Long Colt barrels - all 10" with adjustable rear sights. Thinking about buying a .223 10" barrel I've found for sale. (Had the 22lr barrel but sold it - it just wasn't enjoyable to shoot.) I'll never sell mine.

Not a mag issue entirely I looked at my Glock barrel and the ramp isn’t as steep as the ria 10mm. so I took a Dremel and curved the sharp edges on the top and bottom of the entry hole just just for a easier guide and it racks all 16 perfectly well… with the stock and aftermarket mags😅

I like the video and I carry this gun. It's not a Bobtail as that is no angled cut on the frame to end to prevent snagging, this gun is round bottom. Same concept (eliminate snags), slightly different in profile though. Scandium is an element, and there is less than 2% on it in the entire frame and slide of the gun. Comparatively, there is a significantly higher level of titanium that also helps the aluminum alox rigidify. You got bobtail grips on a round bottom frame, just saying, the two are different and that's why they don't fit on flush to the frame bend at the back, it's more what they call a proud fit. Which mean good enough. Nice gun though. I recommend getting some OEM grips with silver S&W medallions from altamont grips. For some reason I'm the only dude to get a model that had poorly injected grips (pattern was funky looking) and the "Black Magic" finish has been slightly worked off by PC (I hope). I would complain to smith about it but its such a darn good gun i'm just gonna run a few thousand rounds through it and send it in for a refit and refinish for a birthday or christimas. But I've never shot a better 1911. It's a dependable beast that you can carry.
