Tech almost never gets good offensive linemen in football, and we struggle to retain/develop good big men in basketball.

Tech finally had to pay for their lack of size. I think maybe for the first time all year. I just don't get EY once again being anchored on the bench. He couldn't possibly have been less effective than Fede was.

Federico needs to up his game, 44% free throw!! In a close game and he gets a rebound, hack a Shaq and put Federic on the line, OUCH

Assistant coach in Houston went deep to the bench and they all played well. I agree with Grant that he did a horrible job subbing. I don’t understand how Walton and EY played a lot of minutes and played well at Houston but can’t seem to find the court now.

It seems that Arizona has a friend at ESPN who schedules their games late in the night to mess with our teams circadian rhythms and give them an advantage. It didn't work on the football team, but it did on the basketball team.

I was only able to watch the first half, but other than Elijah, we just didn't seem to be the "looking for the open shot team" that we have been lately. I think D5 shot the ball every time he touched it... Good news.... getting smacked in the face will wake us up to the fact that we ONLY win as a TEAM.

I’m not sure if everyone can see what I see but the biggest ball and chain on Tech’s losses is Federiko. The dude cannot rebound , pass, catch passes, shoot, NOTHING. Yalaho should be filling in. Being a 7 footer does not mean being a positive contributor. The only categories he leads the team in is turnovers, fouls, and missed free throws.

That Arizona game was a failure of the bench players. The five that played the whole game needed help. I think the bench guys may have been intimidated by the environment. Good assessment Chris.

Casey, you might want to consider tying a double Windsor knot in your tie. It is slightly more complicated, but comes out symmetrical.

I am an Arizona fan and did not come here after the game to gloat. Texas Tech is a very tough team, with excellent players, and good coaching. Last might was not your night, but it absolutely could have gone the other way. We were lucky to come away with a spilt with you guys. This is exactly why Arizona joined the Big 12. Meaningful mid-season games against really good teams. We are glad to be part of this and will do our best to make it competitive and fun for everyone. (Oh, and please crush ASU this week).

So nothing came off that cluster in Houston? WTH?! Great news about Blanchard. I was kind of worried because the last few scholarship offers being sent out, the recruits were thanking Nance and Blanchard's name wasn't included. Selfishly I'm hoping that Toppin decides to stay another year and do a Dickinson and get rewarded handsomely for staying. He really isn't ready. At his size, thinking he can succeed on the block in the NBA seems pretty iffy. He needs to be able to shoot from outside and hasn't shown any real ability in doing so.
